Chapter Seven

Time flew fast. It was hard to believe the three of us have just been wondering around the venue for almost two hours checking out everything that's been going on. There were so many people here already it was unreal. I was not prepared for this session. The doors opened 2 hours ago and on our ventures we checked out some of the other Youtubers on stage. I couldn't name you of any that we saw, I didn't recognize any of them and they were obviously on the smaller side of the YouTuber community, like ourselves which is why our slots were a lot earlier on in the day compared to the bigger names.

It was currently 11:45 and we had just made our way back to the back stage room to grab a coffee before we headed to our Q&A room, because I definitely needed a coffee if I was going to appear in front of a real audience for the first time.

The room had filled up slightly since we left it earlier. As we were entering the room all we could hear was chanting and once we were inside we could see why. Jack and Casper were sat opposite ends of a table bang in the middle of the room with every other breathing soul in the room crowded around them. Of course we wanted to know what was going on and joined the crowd. The two of them appeared to be having an arm wrestle and they both looked on the brink of collapsing. I took this as the perfect opportunity to start vlogging and whipped out my vlogging camera as did George and Dylan. Whilst standing there Joe approached us with his camera out, looked like we weren't the only ones with the great ideas. 

"Oh, look who we have here, my new friends Demi, George and Dylan. Make sure you check out their channels if you haven't already." Joe introduced us to the vlog. 

The three of us waved and said hello to Joe before turning our heads back to Jack and Casper who were still at it, both their fists shaking incredibly, however they were still practically at the starting point. I looked to my camera and saw it was 40 seconds into the recording.

"This is crazy. My film is already 40 seconds in and neither of them have moved an inch." I told to Joe shocked. "How long have they been at it?"

"Almost 5 minutes! I don't think this is going to end, Demi. I've never seen an arm wrestle like this before!" Joe told me almost shouting just so he could be heard over the chants of everyone else in the room. 

We continued to watch the arm wrestle out and after about a minute or so it was finally over. It was such a close call, Jack almost managed to get Casper's hand on the table and then as if he just lost all strength in his arm Casper threw Jack's hand back over and it slammed straight onto the table. 

Everyone in the room cheered and the boys got up with pain written all over their red sweaty faces and just about had enough strength to shake each others hands after causing them to groan in agony.

"Whoa." Jack said catching his breath. "You're a lot stronger than you look buddy." and gave him a pat on the back.

"Well it's a good thing you quit your day job." Casper started. "I don't think you have the strength of a personal trainer."

With they all the boys laughed in unison, the audience however didn't laugh quite as much and I assume it's probably because they didn't quite get the joke, like myself. I nudged Joe slightly and when he turned to me I asked him. 

"What's the personal trainer joke about?" I asked him.

"Jack used to be a personal trainer before he started YouTube." Joe explained.

"Really?" I asked in disbelief and Joe nodded.

I was quite shocked about that, and took another look at Jack examining his body. I mean Jack looked like he was in good shape and someone who works out fairly regularly, but I would never looked at him and think personal trainer, I don't believe I've ever actually seen a real personal trainer knowingly to judge, but when I think personal trainer I think of someone with a lot more muscles, along the lines of The Rock, but maybe that is just my interpretation thinking too extreme.

As I was thinking I didn't realize I was still looking at Jack and he seemed to have noticed as when I gained back my full consciousness I saw he was looking straight back at me. Oh god awkward! I thought to myself. The last thing I need is another awkward moment with Jack and quickly turned the other way.

"Right, guys."  I said to George and Dylan who were once again talking to Saffron and Anastasia. "We need to get going."

"Where are you heading now?" I heard Saffron ask them.

"We have our Q&A session now." Dylan told her.

"Oh, would you mind if we come and watch? We haven't got much to do at the moment."

"Ye-sure, yeah, cool." George replied trying so hard to get his words out reminding me how I was yesterday. 

As we were walking to our Q&A point I walked ahead with George and Dylan stayed behind talking to Saffron and Anastasia. 

"I see you're getting nervous around Saffron." I said giving him a little wink.

"Oh god." George exclaimed putting his hands in his head. "I'm just so shocked that it's actually her and she's willing talking to me like I completely understand what you meant with Jack yesterday now." He said and I laughed nodding. "And she said she apparently didn't know who I was earlier, but if she's ever seen her twitter notifications and seen how fans constantly tweet her that she needs to date some boy called George she only has to put two and two together to realise they're talking about me because I've told them I like her."

"You're worrying too much." I said as I lightly hit him on the arm. "It doesn't mean she knows you like her, just play it cool and say the fans just obviously ship you two together."

"But it's on video, Demi."

"Look it's cool. She'll be flattered either way and even if she doesn't like you back she will appreciate the fact that you admire her."

I hope it just doesn't make her think I'm weird and that I got my fans to constantly tweet her to get her to notice me or something." He told me laughing awkwardly.

We then made it to the room where our Q&A was being held Dylan, George and I waited for the hosts introduction and then made our way onto the stage following the directions given to us as Saffron and Anastasia stayed backstage and wished us good luck knowing it was our first time.
