It was now 5:30 and we were sitting in Nandos looking through the menu.

"I don't even know why I'm wasting time looking at this menu. I go for the same thing every time." I stated and closed the menu pushing it aside.

"You need to Broaden your horizons" George told me. "Try something new for a change, the chicken burger is definitely not the best thing on the menu."

"Yeah, have you ever tried the wrap?" Dylan asked "It's basically the same thing but 10x times better."

"Hmm..." I thought. "I just don't know. You know me - I just stick to what I know." I said reopening the menu as I jumped between the burger and wrap.

"Trust me."

"Fine, but if I'm not happy you owe a refund."

"Don't think he can afford that on his YouTube wages." George joked.

"Yeah, I spend all my earnings on getting to a from London to film with you guys every other week. Sometimes I wonder if it's even worth it." He laughed.

"Oh, we're definitely worth it and who knows, maybe after this event we'll gain a bigger following and earn more."

"Yeah, I'm hoping by Monday I can afford my Lamborghini."

"What you don't already have one? I bought mine after my first YouTube cheque."

"Haha you wish. You're going to be stuck driving that old Peugeot for a while now." George said and laughed.

"Hey, don't diss the Peugeot. She's grand."

"Grand? You've been taking her to the garage for months on end. She's on her way out."

"Leave her out of this. My car is still better than Dylan's rusty Clio."

"Well that's true." George agreed. "Dylan needs a cheque just big enough just to afford a better second-hand car."

"I can already afford one, I'm just in no rush to buy one. I'm just saving my money and waiting for better things." Dylan defended himself. "Better things like this Nandos chicken which I haven't even ordered yet."

With that he got out of his seat and walked over to the till to order. George and I turned to each other before following in Dylan's steps;

"Have you decided what you're getting them?" George asked.

"It wasn't even a question, I was always going to get the burger." I laughed.

I was the last one to order and by the time I went to fill up my glass at the post mix machine Dylan and George were already back at the table, which is why it took me as surprise when I heard someone Say my name.

"Demi Rose?" I heard through my right ear and the voice sent shivers down my spine.

I turned around, looked up and couldn't believe who was standing in front of me and apparently knew my name.

Jack Maynard.
