Chapter 10
Holy shit, this isn't Vegas!
I sprawled myself over the desk basically nudging the poor lady to the side, "I'm sorry you must have me confused with someone else." I scrambled looking at the file, how the heck has my name been changed especially since I started at this damn place.
Surely enough the folders had listed my name clearly in bold lettering, Mrs Quinn Dellator, with my picture underneath it also said that I was no longer under Malory Mien's care indicating that this sheet of paper is my updated information. I began to hyperventilate, I can't be married, especially when I didn't attend the bloody ceremony, I don't drink and I hate dresses so how the heck!
I freeze in mid step turning my panicked expression to Nik who looked a too smug and a little fascinated by my reaction, I turn to the lady, "I'm afraid we will not be attending school today since my husband," I spat, "and I have some stuff to finalize we just wanted to enrol him today," I fare welled watching as eyes followed us while I shoved Nik to the exit.
Nik finally grabbed my hand and made his way onto the bike and started the engine pulling us down the gate as students began to take photos overhearing that I am in fact fake married.
Death is too simple for this asshole and I hope he knows how to tango because I'm about to dance like his worst nightmares.
As we made our way home I tried to think up something in my head, why would he do something like this? I wanted to be invisible, now suddenly I'm the news because everyone thinks I'm married to Nik.
Biting my lip I didn't bother with the helmet but I regretted the decision when Nik made his way over the dirt road and the dust started to make my eyes water causing me to tuck my face into his shoulder, displeased. Nik relaxed when we had finally stopped.
I got off and waited for him to do so as well before we made our way to the front door, pulling the straps of the stupid bag off my shoulders I threw it at the stairs in frustration I was absolutely fine before he had screwed everything up.
When he finally got the door open I strode in likefury had embedded itself in my walk. I spun on him as quick as I could to see him pulling off his glasses settling into a neutral position practically expecting the next words from my mouth.
"When the hell did I marry you!?" I screamed.
He folded his arms and kept the impassive face and shrugged.
I put a hand on my forehead, "They made a mistake I'm sure we can get it fixed, right?"
Nik tossed his head side to side, forcing a small whine from my throat Nik stands still as I collapse against the wall.
"But it's not true, why? Aren't you angry that they think we're married?" I realized Nik wouldn't do that, he would probably kill himself before becoming attached to a girl like me, I was crying all over him a few days ago so of course he wouldn't fake a relationship with me.
"I can't believe this, do you know how many people will try and talk to me tomorrow?" I frowned, Chelsea was just a small fraction of the people trying to bide for Nik, "And did you see Chelsea? She was basically panting over you," I laugh, this is high school I'm afraid he's going to have to put up with her dropping subtle hints for him to run away with her.
"Second question why did you enrol yourself, aren't you too old?" Nik shook his head his grin broke off.
"Well how old are you?" I asked as I played with my fingernails calmly, why are my emotions all over the place?
He pulled out his fingers and gestured his age like an idiot. He blinked ten then an eight.
My jaw dropped he doesn't look eighteen! "You can't be," I gushed.
