Chapter 17

Sprawled out beneath Nik I squirm as his manhood stilled inside me.

His dark lustful eyes slowly turned back to their natural yellow while his handsome face lit with satisfaction, "Nik!" I yelled, slapping his hard chest as he licked across my breast my sweat on his tongue.

"Nik I don't have to stay here anymore," he slammed his hands down on the table.

God you should have seen him, he burst into flames when I told him that my mother wanted me back and that I was going to accept the offer.

He was so angry that he slammed me into the wall and basically ripped my clothes in half before setting me down on the table, and well, by then I couldn't fight him off because I didn't realize how much I needed this, I needed him. At first his touch was anger and frustration because I had finished explaining myself but then of course he gentled and built passion between our erected bodies. He made it just as soft as he did the first time we had given into our desires, he kept eye contact until he reached the end of his completion and then...

"Oh Jesus! We didn't use protection," I let out an estranged cry for mercy.

A month of thanking the gods for not giving me a child and then suddenly, I tell Nik I'm leaving and hell rises out of the ground.

I look up to see Nik has stopped and is staring anywhere but my face, the table beneath us squeaked when I lightly placed my knee over his hip.

"Nik?" I whispered while he looked away upset.

He didn't respond but he made no move to leave so I was happy that he couldn't leave me without an unanswered question.

"Look at me," I command softly, grabbing onto his strong forearms, they flexed under my fingertips. His black hair zapped down his face I notice that it had grown a lot and was just above his neck.

He continued to stare away, I began to feel a similar feeling of neglect, "Please," I murmur losing self-confidence still feeling vulnerable by my nakedness.

Not meeting my gaze I put my fingers on his neck giggling gently when I see the indents of my teeth on his creamy skin.

"Are you hurt?" I graze the red scars before kissing the bite clean, finally giving me an answer by shaking his head I breathe out with relief.

Heart-warming at the reaction I slide my palms to his face, "Nik please look at me," the vulnerability in my eyes reached an apex as he continued to ignore my child like voice.

I kiss his soft lips my heart dropping to the pit of my stomach when he doesn't respond. Eyes stuck to the door he made sure that all the exits were secure as if the house were on fire and he needed to get out quickly.

"I'm sorry I didn't know you'd react this way," I spoke calmly yet as he continued to look away keeping his attention off me I felt like nothing, a small beauty spot of no importance but every time you look there, you wonder what it would be like if it weren't there.

"If I leave I would no longer be a burde-" I mumbled, suddenly Nik's hands forcibly pushed off the table disconnecting us both; I let out a strangled yelp realizing it hurt.

I just felt somewhat empty as he walked over to the pile of wrecked clothes finding his in the midst of my own. Tossing his shirt to me I put it over my body. His top didn't sit right anymore, it just felt ordinary, too ordinary. Like it wasn't even a shirt!

He put his jeans on and sat at the table his feet propped on the it's antique surface his jaw set as he stared up at me.

"Nik-" I started only to see him bring his hand down to the bench with urgency and anger. He grabbed the notebook on the table and jotted down words with the pen that was beside it.
