Chapter 5

He looked angry, very angry...like I'm going to murder you angry.

The thought never occurred to her, if Quinn saving him wasn't supposed to happen then maybe he brought her here to kill her...

Well I might as well know if I'm going to die right now.

"Are you going to kill me?" it sounded harmless at first but my voice changed to predator, if he so much as nods; somebody is going to die, and it sure as hell is not going to be me!

I watch him closely as his face changed through emotions, from stunned, to horror, to anger, back to shock, then confusion before settling on emotionless.

Reaching out he snatched my hand and since I was watching his face I had never noticed it inching towards me in the first place...

He began to pull me out, I tried to shove my feet into the floor but it wasn't happening and then I reached with the other hand to embed my fingers in the doorframe.

"No! Leave me alone, I swear whatever I know that you don't want anyone else to know, they will never know!" I am almost hysterical until a hand is clamped over my mouth, now I'm Godzilla!

Twisting back my arm I strike his gut with the full force of my throwing arm before getting a leg under his taking his full mass to the ground before putting my foot on his chest.

He looked up at me with a speechless look; mind you he hasn't talked to me since I've met him.

"Where is my bag?" I spat, no time for these silent games and Mrs Nice; I'm out of here.

He simply sat there with a wordless expression.

"Jesus stop looking at me like I twerked! Where the hell is it?"

Nothing said, just his yellow eyes taking in the full sight of himself sprawled across the floor and me holding him down. But I do admit when he had gone after me he had a strong grip and he does seem a little versatile, he just didn't anticipate how I was going to disarm him especially in that awkward position.

I sigh; can I tie him up? First I would have to find a rope while keeping him held down and then I'd seriously need to be capable of a difficult knot because he has serious spider fingers.

I need bloody answers if I'm going to get out here and knowing his intentions is a good start.

"Are you going to kill me?" I push on his chest securely engaging him out of his little shocked face.

He didn't answer he simply shook his head.

I sigh in relief, "Thank god I thought I was going to have to kill you first if you were-you know, going to kill me," I admit, his yellow eyes were a path, and I saw more than just words...and right now he hasn't gotten over the shock of having him on his back.

"What? You put your hand over my mouth I just reacted like a normal human being." Although it was strange he grabbed my foot bringing it off his chest so he could stand...when I said strange I meant the fact I had let him do it without a fight, I trusted him for some odd reason.

"Okay, second where is my bag?"

Much to my irritation he shrugged, I looked up at his six-foot form.

"Have you hidden it?" again no words he gestured with his body what had happened.

This time he smiled slightly before shrugging.

"You either know, or you don't," I hissed pushing my body further away from his.

He turns and walks away.
