The next day at noon, I stood in front of the elevator shaft waiting for Beth and Noah.
I heard someone coming when I looked over and saw Beth and Noah coming holding rope. "Here," Beth days handing me a gun. I smiled taking it, "here, I found some sergical scissors," I say handing her a set, "only use the gun if you have to." Beth nodded as we tied the ropes to metal bars as they wrapped the rope around my waist.
They started lowering me down in the elevator shaft. Looking down you could see half dead biters laying in a pile.
After getting to the bottom, I carefully stabbed the biters with the scissors making a path as I untied myself, sending the rope back up.
I looked up and saw Noah lowering Beth down, "watch out for the biters, I made a small path to avoid them," I call to her softly.
She looked at me confused, "you were apart of Woodbury.." she says softly as she got to the bottom. "Yeah, for like.. a year before I snuck away after an attack, why do you say that..? And know that..?" I ask looking at her, sending the rope back up.
"They took my sister and brother-in-law.. my people attacked them to get them back." She looks to me, as we helped Noah get down, "we didn't take anyone.." I say softly, "Merle took them," she says as we got Noah down, "course it was," I sighed as we made our way out to the parking lot.
We saw biters in the parking lot when we heard a gun shot. I looked back and saw Beth shooting them, "don't..!" I yell as I suddenly heard one right next to me as another gun shot when off and the biter fell on top of me.
I fell to the ground on my back and yelled in pain as I pushed the biter off. I looked over and saw Noah running through the gates, biters against my side of the gate. I looked over and saw officers tackle Beth and hand cuff her. Looking back to Noah, I saw him run. I was happy her got away, but mad.
Officers came and cuffed me as they pulled me to my feet. I looked to Beth as she closed her eyes and looked down as they brought us back inside.
