(Joey's POV)
I look out the peephole and see Charles, Ava runs up stairs and hides under my bed. I open the door and Charles walks in.
C: Hey Joey.
J: Hi Charles.
C: Looks like you're feeling better.
J: Yeah.
C: Where's Ava? I know she's here. She's not at Marks. He came over earlier asking for her so where is she?
J: She's not here. Why would you think that?
C: Because 1 you guys both left the house last night in a hurry, 2 Mark said she wasn't with him and 3 Aaron has a point.
J: What is Aaron's point?
C: You live 15 minuets away from our house on foot and the closest hotel from our house is 45 minuets away on foot. Ava would never walk 45 minuets in a town she doesn't know to well. Plus I know that you like her and I think she likes you so where is she?
J: I don't know.

C: Cmon Joey. Where is Ava?
J: She's not here Charles. I don't know where she is.
C: Okay.
Charles walks out of the house and I walk up the stairs and go into my room.
J: Ava you can come out now.
A: Okay.
Ava crawls out from under my bed, I sit down on my computer chair and pull Ava down on my lap so she's facing me.
(Ava's POV)
Joey pulls me down on his lap and kisses me, he wraps his arms around me.
A: Joey I really need to go now.
J: Fine. I'll be over later anyways.
A: Okay.
He pecks my lips, I get up and walk downstairs with him following me. I get to the door and he grabs my waist.
A: Joey.
J: Okay I'm sorry. I just really like you.
A: I really like you too. I'll see you later.
J: Okay.
Joey kisses me again, I walk outside and leave. When I get home I quickly walk to my room, Charles grabs my arm and turns me around.
C: Where the hell were you Ava?
A: At Marks.
C: No you weren't. He came over this morning asking for you. So where were you? Were you at Joey's?
A: No I wasn't at Joeys house. I don't even know where he lives and you said not to get involved so I didn't.
C: Then where were you?
A: I was exploring.
C: No you weren't Ava. Where were you?!
A: You don't need to yell.
C: Then tell me where the fuck you were?! I'm your brother I'm supposed to make sure nothing happens to you while you're in California!
A: It's non of your business where I was!
I take my arm out of Charles hand and walk up to my room, I slam the door and lock it.
C: Seriously Ava I'm just asking you where you were?
A: And it's non of your business where I was now go away.
C: Fine.
Charles walks away from my door, I unpack my clothes and put them away. I lay on my bed and pull the covers over me, I get a text from Mark.
M: Hi Ava.
A: Hey Mark.
M: Why did Charles think you were at my hotel room last night?
A: I don't know.
M: Oh well do you want to hang out today? I can come over.
A: Okay see you soon🙂
M: Okay😝
I get up out of my bed and walk downstairs, the door opens and Joey walks in.
J: Hi Ava.
A: Hi Joey.
Joey winks at me before Charles walks down the stairs.
C: Hey Joey.
J: Hey Charles.
Charles and Joey walk upstairs to Charles room, I sit on the couch and wait for Mark. There's a knock on our door 15 minuets later.
C: Ava who's here?
J: Mark.
I open the door and Mark walks in.
A: Hi Markus.
M: Hey Ava.
A: What do you want to do?
M: I don't know.
A: Wait I have an idea.
I grab Mark's wrist and bring him up to my room, I sit him down on a chair and walk into my bathroom.
M: Ava if you're doing what I think you're doing we will not be friends anymore.
I roll my eyes and laugh, I grab my makeup and hair ties and walk out of the bathroom.
M: Oh cmon Ava.
A: Please Marky?
I give him a puppy dog face.
M: Fine.
Me and Mark laugh, I start doing his makeup and put his hair up.
A: You know that you are a really good friend for doing this Mark. *laughs* Not many guy friends would do this.
M: Well not everyone can be as great as me.
He pretends to flip his hair, I roll my eyes and chuckle. I put some highlighter on him.
A: I'm done now.
M: Okay.
Mark stands up and walks over to my mirror.
M: Damn I'd be a hot girl. *laughs*
A: Oh my god Mark. *laughs*
Charles and Joey walk in my room a few minutes later.
C: Hey Ava we're going to lu- what did you do to Mark?
M: She gave me a makeover. Don't I look sexy? *laughs*
C: *Laughs* No.
A: Hey! It was hard to get him to look this good.
M: Uh rude. I always look this good.
A: Not true.
C: *Laughs* Well wipe it off. We're going to lunch.
A: *Laughs* I'll meet you downstairs.
We walk downstairs and wait for Mark, We leave a few minutes later. We get back to the house 2 hours later, Mark goes back to his hotel room. I walk to the kitchen and put my leftovers in the fridge, Joey walks up behind me and hugs me waist.
A: *Whispers* What the hell do you think you're doing? Charles is literally upstairs in his room right now.
J: *Whispers* Relax he's sleeping anyways. He passed out when we got back.
