I slam my door shut and lock it, I lay on my bed on my stomach and set my phone on my nightstand. 1 hour later my phone starts going off, I grab it and see text messages from Joey and Charles.
J: Did u really cheat on me?!?!?!
J: I knew dating u was a bad idea
J: I never did trust u and Mark and how much u guys hang out
J: Ur a liar and a cheater
J: We're over
J: Fucking skank
I get tears in my eyes and go to Charles messages
C: Y would u cheat on Joey?
C: That's fucked up
C: Joey didn't do anything to u and u cheat on him
C: Don't contact me ever again. I don't want anything to do w u ever again. I wish I didn't have u as my twin.

I shut my phone completely off and start crying, I bury my head into my pillow. I take Joeys sweatshirt off and throw it across my room, Mom starts knocking on my door.
Mom: Ava, sweetie what's wrong? Why are you crying? Did something happen?
A: *Crying* J-just go away!
Mom: Okay. Do you want something?
A: *Crying* Go away!
Mom walks away and I cry harder and harder, I fall asleep a few hours later. I wake up again around 8 pm to my phone buzzing, I grab my phone and see that I'm mentioned in a ton of hate comments on a video on YouTube. I grab my laptop and log into YouTube and see that Joey posted a new video called "Why I Have A New Girlfriend" my heart drops and I click on the video and start watching it.
J: What's up guys I'm Joey Birlem and as you can tell by the caption I'm not dating Ava anymore and I'm now dating McKenzie Ziegler. She's not here right now because she's in dance practice but I came to make a video to tell why me and Ava aren't together anymore.
My eyes well up with tears again and he continues to talk.
J: Me and Ava aren't together anymore because she was cheating on me at the mall with someone so that kind of explains everything but Ava if you do end up watching this you are a liar and a skank and don't ever contact me again because I don't want anything to do with you and neither does your brother Charles as he texted you earlier so you should know that. I'm going to end the video here but I love you guys and I'll see you next week. Bye.
Joey covers the camera and the video ends, I close my laptop and start crying again. I put my laptop on my nightstand, I pull my knees up to my chest and bury my head in my knees. Mom walks in my room a few seconds later and sits on my bed by me.
Mom: Ava, I'm sorry.
A: *Crying* W-why? You didn't do anything w-wrong.
Mom: I'm sorry for what is happening and Joey should never have called you what he did. Did you really cheat on him?
A: *Crying* N-no. I have no reason to. I was at the mall with Mark and Bryce Hall took a picture and posted it and tagged Joey and said I was cheating on him. And now because of Bryce Joey and Charles want nothing to do with me.
Mom: I'm sorry Ava. Have you tried to talk to Joey and Charles and tell them the truth?
I calm down and wipe my tears.
A: No. They don't want anything to do with me and Joey already moved on.
Mom: What do you mean?
A: He already has a new girlfriend.
Mom: Who?
A: McKenzie Ziegler.
Mom: Hun I'm so sorry. You just need to move on I guess. That's the only thing you can do at this point.
A: I don't want to move on. I liked Joey a lot and now because of 1 stupid rumor Bryce said everyone hates me and I lost 2 of the most important people in my life.
Mom: I know. I'm going to get something to eat. Do you want anything?
A: I want Joey back.
Mom: You know I can't do that Ava now be reasonable.
A: No. I don't want anything.
Mom: Okay.
She walks out of my room shutting the door behind her, I go back on my laptop and log out of all my social medias. I lay back down and lay there for a while hugging a pillow to my chest, I grab my phone and text Charles.
A: Charles?
C: Ava go away
A: No I know u don't want anything to do w me but I did not cheat on Joey
C: That's not what Bryce said
A: So ur believing Bryce over ur own sister?
C: Ava, if it's not true then y would Bryce post it
A: I did not cheat on Joey. I promise
C: Whatever Ava
A: I promise you I would never cheat on Joey. We made that promise. All I did was go to the mall with Mark and he left like 30 minuets later with Loren and left me there and Bryce saw me and he started making up lies
C: U r such a liar
A: No I'm not I'm telling you the truth
C: 🙄
A: Well if u won't at least believe me then can u answer at least 1 of my questions
C: Fine. What is it?
A: Is Joey really dating McKenzie?
C: Yes bc at least she doesn't cheat
A: I didn't cheat on Joey and I especially would never cheat on anyone w Mark
C: Well move on Ava ur not getting Joey back especially now that he's w McKenzie
C: He's had a crush on McKenzie for the longest time. Even when u guys were together.
