I block Joey and text Charles.
A: I'm sorry Charles. I've should have listened to you.
C: What are you talking about?
A: Joey. I should have listened to you when you said not to date him.
C: What happened?
A: He didn't tell me that Dad was in surgery today then he tried to tell me that I cheated on him 6 years ago and he said that these 6 years were a big mistake so I'm sorry that I didn't listen to you when you said not to date him.
C: I told you guys something like this was going to happen and now it's even worse considering you're pregnant again.
A: Who told you that?
C: Thomas. If you guys break up you know you have to let him see Kaiden and Mason along with the new baby.
A: There's no if's. We broke up and if he wants to accuse me of shit I didn't do he doesn't need to see Mason and Kaiden or the new baby.

C: You can't keep his kids from him Ava.
A: I can but I shouldn't but I am.
A: Don't try to tell me that I need to fix this either because you always told me that when something happened and it wouldn't even be my fault.
C: I won't because this time it's clearly his fault. He did something he shouldn't have done and he said some rude stuff. I'll talk to him so he needs to apologize or make it right or something.
A: Okay.
I put my phone back in my pocket, I sit in the waiting room for a few more hours until the nurse comes to get me.
Nurse: You can come see your dad now.
A: Okay.
I get up and follow the nurse to the room, she opens the door and I walk in. I walk to the side of the bed.
A: Hi Dad.
Dad: Hi Ava.
A: How are you feeling?
Dad: I'm feeling okay. Where's Kaiden and Mason and Joey?
A: Thomas took Kaiden and Mason to the Carnival and I'm not sure where Joey is.
Dad: He's not at your guys apartment?
A: He wasn't there when I left today so he might be there now or he's at Bryce's, Aaron's or Geo's.
Dad: Oh.
A: I have a surprise for you though. Remember yesterday when me and Joey were talking to you about having another baby?
Dad: Yeah.
A: Well guess what.
Dad: What?
A: I'm pregnant.
Dad: You're going to have another baby?
A: *Laughs* Yeah.
Dad smiles really wide, the door opens a little bit later. Thomas walks in with Mason and Kaiden, they run to me and hug me.
A: Hi you guys.
K: Where's daddy?
A: He um... he's at home with his friend.
M: Oh. Can we go home so we can see him?
A: No not yet. We are visiting grandpa for a little bit.
K: I want to go now though.
A: No Kaiden. We will go home in a little bit.
Kaiden crosses his arms and sits down in a chair, we talk for 5 more hours.
M: I want to go home. I'm tired.
A: Okay. We'll go home in a few minutes.
Mason grabs my leg and holds onto it.
A: I'm going to leave. I'll come back tomorrow.
Dad: Okay. Love you guys.
A: We love you too.
I hug Dad and he hugs me back, I grab Mason and Kaiden's hands and we start walking out of the room out to the car. I put them in their car seats and we start driving to the apartments, when we get back to the apartments I park the car and grab the keys. I open the car doors and grab Mason and Kaiden's hands again, we start walking to the apartment. We walk in and I see Joey laying on the couch and his eyes red and puffy.
J: Ava.
A: Go to your room and take your shoes off. I'll make dinner in a second.
K: I want to see daddy.
A: Go to your room now. Me and your dad need to talk.
Kaiden and Mason walk to their room and shut their door, I look at Joey and he stands up. He starts walking towards me.
A: Stay away from me. I don't want anything to do with you and I told you to pack your stuff and leave.
J: Babe, I didn't-
A: Don't call me that anymore.
J: I didn't type the stuff that you read. I know it sounds like I did but I didn't. I promise.
A: Then who did Joey?
J: Bryce did. I went to the store to get some beer and I left my phone here. I didn't think Bryce was going to get into it.
A: Joey the messages were rude and when you get drunk you're a whole new person. You're a dick when you're drunk. So I'm having a hard time believing you.
J: I promise you Ava. I wouldn't say those things even when I am drunk. I wouldn't believe him at all when he made up the rumor.
A: Why was he over here in the first place then?
J: Because he wanted to come over and I told him not to but he came over anyway.
A: I want to hear it from him that he wrote the messages.
J: You know he's not going admit to that Ava.
A: Well until he does you can sleep on the couch.
J: Okay but I swear I'm not lying.
A: Do you absolutely promise that you are not lying?
J: Yes. I absolutely promise you. I'll call Bryce tomorrow.
A: Okay.
J: Are we good?
A: Only until I find out the truth.
J: Okay. Good.
Joey walks over to me and hugs me, I hug him back. I break the hug and walk to the kitchen and start making dinner.
