I laugh.
M: Do you think Joey would be okay with that?
A: Mark, he's my boyfriend not my dad and he can't tell me who I can and can't hang out with. So he will be okay with it no matter what.
M: *Laughs* Isn't he the jealous type?
A: *Laughs* Yeah but he knows you're my best friend.
M: *Laughs* Okay.
Me and Mark finish eating 5 minuets later, we start walking around the mall. We go to H&M and buy a few outfits, we go to a few more stores then we sit down for a minutes. I call my mom while Mark plays on his phone, she answers on the 3rd ring.
Mom: Hi hunny.
A: Hey Mom.
*End Of Recap*
Mom: What's up?
A: Is it okay if Mark spends the night?
Mom: Ava you have a boyfriend. You can't just have another boy spend the night.
A: Mom it's Mark. Plus Joey knows that Mark is my best friend.
Mom: Fine. Whatever.
A: Thanks.
Mom: You're welcome Ava. Bye.
A: Bye.
Mom hangs up and I put my phone back in my pocket.
M: Do you want to go to FootLocker?
A: Yeah.
Me and Mark stand up and start walking to FootLocker, when we start walking towards FootLocker Mark just stops and stares.
A: Mark what are you doing?
M: Loren is over there with Bryce.
A: We can go to different store if you want.
M: No it's fine. She isn't going to make me upset every time I see her.
A: Are you sure?
M: Yeah.
A: Okay.
Me and Mark start walking to the store, we each buy a pair of shoes. I go to the cash register to pay for my shoes, I look over and don't see Mark standing by me like he was 1 minuet ago. I turn around and see him walking off with Loren, I roll my eyes and turn back around.
(C=Cashier)
C: Here's your change and your shoes.
A: Thanks.
C: Your boyfriend just walked off with another girl. Not to get in your business but.
A: He's not my boyfriend. He's just my best friend.
C: Oh sorry.
A: It's okay.
I turn around and run into someone, I backup and look up and see Bryce. I roll my eyes again.
B: Don't roll your eyes at me Ava.
A: Please Bryce you hooked up with Loren and you knew she was dating Mark so excuse me but I'm not dealing with shit today.
I move around Bryce and walk out of FootLocker, I start walking towards the entrance with Bryce following me. I turn around.
A: Stop following me.
B: Well don't you need a ride home? Mark left with Loren.
A: Oh yeah thanks for reminding me. Bye now.
I start walking away and pull my phone out of my pocket, I call an Uber to come get me. Bryce grabs my arm and turns me around.
A: Go away.
B: You know I could give you a ride home. It's more safer then calling a random stranger to pick you up and take you home and then they know your address.
A: Shut up Bryce. I don't want anything to do with you.
B: I didn't do anything to you. So why do you not like me?
A: Well for 1 you're and fuckboy, 2 you're annoying and oh yeah you hooked up with Loren and you knew that Mark was dating her.
B: It doesn't affect you.
A: Yes it does because Mark is my best friend and he came to me upset about Loren cheating on him and I don't want my best friend to be upset like that. He actually loves her and you somehow persuaded her to hook up with you and that hurt Mark and I don't want to see Mark upset.
B: It's not your relationship anyways so it shouldn't affect you and you have your own relationship with Joey and how would he like to know that you and Mark were hanging out at the mall.
A: He knows that me and Mark hangout a lot and he knows that we're best friends so.
B: Whatever. Bye Ava.
A: You're a dick.
I walk away and walk outside, I get in the Uber and tell him my address. He starts driving to my house, I go on Twitter and see that Bryce tagged me in a post. I roll my eyes and go to the post, I see a picture of me and Mark smiling at each other because of a joke he told. Bryce's caption was "@Ava_Gitnick was cheating on @JoeyBirlem with @MarkThomas at the mall😱" I reply quickly "🙄 @BryceHall thats not true and you know it. Stop making up lies you little fuckboy" he then reply's a few seconds later with "@Ava_Gitnick I'm just stating the truth. You're boyfriend @JoeyBirlem is going to love to hear this😉" I roll my eyes and shut my phone off, we get to my house a few minutes later and I get out and walk inside and slam the door. I start walking up to my room.
Mom: Ava, what wrong?! Where's Mark?! I thought he was spending the night!
I slam my door shut and lock it, I lay on my bed on my stomach and set my phone on my nightstand. 1 hour later my phone starts going off, I grab it and see text messages from Joey and Charles.
J: Did u really cheat on me?!?!?!
J: I knew dating u was a bad idea
J: I never did trust u and Mark and how much u guys hang out
J: Ur a liar and a cheater
J: We're over
J: Fucking skank
I get tears in my eyes and go to Charles messages
C: Y would u cheat on Joey?
C: That's fucked up
C: Joey didn't do anything to u and u cheat on him
C: Don't contact me ever again. I don't want anything to do w u ever again. I wish I didn't have u as my twin.
