Joey stands behind me and grabs my waist, he lays his head on my shoulder. We talk for a few more hours, Charles left a little bit ago.
Thomas: Do you want me to take Kaiden and Mason with me tonight?
A: Mason, Kaiden.
K: What?
A: Do you want to go spend the night with Uncle Thomas tonight?
M: Yeah. He let's have ice cream before bed.
Thomas: Shh.
Dad: *Laughs* They ratted you out.
K: I didn't. Mason did.
Thomas: *Laughs* Cmon.
M: Bye mommy. Bye daddy.
A: Bye babies.
Thomas grabs their hand and they leave.
A: Dad?
Dad: Yeah sweetie?
A: Can I ask your opinion on something?
Dad: Yeah of course.
A: Okay. Me and Joey were thinking the other day.
Dad: And?
A: What do you think about me and Joey having another baby?
Dad: Are you pregnant again?
A: No but we're trying. What do you think?
Dad: Well I think it's a good idea but it really matters what you guys think of it. I think it's great idea that you guys are trying to build your family and make it a bit bigger.
I smile and I feel Joey smile against my neck.

The nurse walks in a little bit later.
Nurse: I'm sorry but we have to do some Chemo but it would be great if you guys came back tomorrow.
A: Okay. Thank you. I'll go warm the car up.
J: Okay.
I hug Dad and kiss his forehead, Joey hands me the car keys and I walk out to the car.
(Joey's POV)
Ava walks out of the room.
J: Can I have a second to talk to him?
Nurse: Yeah. Of course.
J: Okay. Thank you.
The nurse smiles and walks out of the room.
J: Uh Mr. Gitnick?
Neil: Yes Joey?
J: I want to ask you for your blessing to marry Ava. I don't know when I'm going to marry her but I do know I want to marry her really soon and I wanted to ask for your blessing?
Neil: You have my blessing.
J: Really?
Neil: Yes. I trust you Joey. You've been Charles best friend for 14 years and when Ava got pregnant you stayed with her and didn't leave and you are still with her 5 years later. I can tell that you make her really happy but you have to promise me that you will always love her and take care of her and the twins.
J: I promise.
Neil: Okay then you have my blessing.
I smile.
J: Thank you.
Neil: You better go now. I'll see you guys tomorrow.
J: Okay. Bye.
Neil: Bye.
I walk out of the room and head outside to the car, when I get to the car I get in and start the engine. I start driving to the apartments.
(Ava's POV)
Joey puts his hand on my thigh and I look out the window, when we get back to the apartments Joey parks the car and gets out, Joey walks over to my door and opens it.
J: Come on Babe.
I get out and we start walking inside, once we get to our apartment we walk inside. Joey walk to the kitchen and grabs a beer, I walk to the room and change into pajamas. I get in bed and cover up, I stare at the wall and just start thinking. Joey walks into the room and interrupts my thinking a few minutes later.
J: I'm going out with Aaron and Zach.
A: Oh.
J: What's wrong?
A: Nothing. Just please don't come home with handcuffs again.
J: That was 1 time Ava.
A: I know. I just don't Like seeing you in handcuffs with cuts and bruises all over your face.
J: Okay.
He walks out of the room and leave, I turn around and spread out on the bed. 20 minuets go by, I stand up and walk to the kitchen and open the fridge. I start to look for something to eat, I grab the left over spaghetti. When I grab the container I get nauseous, I set it on the counter and go to the bathroom. I open the toilet lid and throw up, the bathroom door opens. I look and see Joey.
A: I thought you were going out with Aaron and Zach?
J: I forgot my wallet. Are you okay?
A: Yeah.
After I say that I throw up again.
J: Are you sure you're not pregnant?
A: Yes Joey, i'm sure. You saw the tests. They were negative. I probably just have the flu.
J: Do you want me to stay with you? I don't want you to be sick and all alone.
A: No. It's fine. You can go, I'm just going to go to bed.
J: O-okay.
He walks out of the bathroom, I stand up and flush the toilet. I wipe my mouth off and walk back out to the kitchen, I see Joey. He grabs some medicine and some water, he turns around and sets it on the counter.
J: I thought you were going to bed?
A: I though you were leaving?
J: Ava, I can do this all night. *laughs*
I laugh and roll my eyes, I walk into the kitchen and put the spaghetti away. Joey hugs me to his chest and I hug him back.
A: Joey, you can go you know.
J: I know. I can go out with Aaron and Zach another night. I want to stay with you tonight.
I smile against his chest, he kisses my forehead. Joey breaks the hug.
J: Here, take this.
He hands me the medicine and water, I take the medicine and drink some water. I put the cup in the sink and walk to the room with Joey following me, he strips down to his underwear while I get in bed underneath the covers. He gets in the bed a few seconds later and pulls me close to him, he wraps his arms around my waist and I lay my head on his chest.
