He turns around and kisses me, I kiss him back. He finishes making the tacos 15 minuets later, we make the tacos and put 1 on each plate. I set the plates on the table.
J: Kaiden, Mason. Dinner time.
They get up from the couch and start walking to the table and sit down, we start eating.

When we finish eating I take the boys to their room and start getting them ready for bed while Joey cleans up the kitchen, I grab a pair of pajamas out of Kaiden's drawer and hand them to him.
A: Go put these on bub.
I do the same with Mason, after they get their pajamas on they lay down in their bed and cover themselves up with their blankets.
A: Goodnight you guys.
M: Goodnight mommy.
K: We love you.
A: I love you guys too.
I shut the door quietly and walk out to the living room, I shut the tv off. Joey comes up behind me and grabs my waist, he spins me around and sets me down a second later.
J: We're getting married Babe.
A: I know Joey. *laughs*
J: I never thought that I would marry my best friend. *laughs*
A: Neither did I.
Joey wraps his arms around my waist and kisses me, I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him back. He pulls away a few seconds later.
J: Lets go to bed now so I can cuddle you.
A: *Laughs* Okay.
Me and Joey walk to the bedroom, he starts stripping down to his boxers while I put on a pair of pajamas. I lay down on the bed and get under the covers, he gets in a second later and grabs my waist and pulls me close to his chest.
A: I love you so much Joey.
J: I love you so much too Ava.
I close my eyes and fall asleep, a few minutes later Joey falls asleep.
(Joey's POV)
I wake up the next morning with my phone ringing, I quietly get up so I don't wake Ava up. I grab my phone and walk out to the living room, I sit on the couch and answer it.
J: Hello?
Dr: Hi is this Ava Gitnick?
J: No. I'm her fiancé though. Is everything okay with her dad?
Dr: Well no it's not. Her Dad passed away this morning.
J: Oh my god.
Dr: I'm so sorry. Can you tell her?
J: Yeah I'll go tell her now. Thanks for letting me know.
Dr: No problem. I'm so sorry for your loss. Have a great rest of your day.
J: Thanks.
I hang up and walk back to the room and sit on the side of the bed.
J: Ava, wake up Babe.
I shake her arm.
J: Ava, wake up. I need to talk to you.
A: What?
She sits up a second later.
J: So the doctor called a few minutes ago.
A: Okay.
J: They called about your Dad.
A: Yeah. What's wrong?
J: Your Dad passed away this morning.
A: O-oh.
(Ava's POV)
Tears well in my eyes and Joey hugs me, I lay my head against his chest.
J: I am so sorry baby.
A: Can we go see him?
J: Ava, he's dead Babe. We can't go see him. I am so sorry love.
A: This is the worst day ever.
J: I know. I'm sorry.
A: I just want to be berried under all the blankets and pillows.
J: I'm sorry Ava.
A: Can I just be alone right now?
J: Are you sure?
A: Yeah. I just want to be left alone right now.
J: Okay. I love you so much Ava.
A: I love you too.
Joey kisses my forehead and walks out of the room, I get under the blankets and sheets. I lay my head on my pillow, tears start going to my cheeks and I start crying.
(Joey's POV)
I walk out of the room and grabs pair of shoes, I walk into Kaiden and Mason's room and see that they are up and playing.
M: Hi daddy.
J: Hi. I need you guys to get dressed.
K: Why. Where are we going?
J: I'm going to take you guys to your grandma and grandpa's.
M: Why?
J: Because mommy doesn't feel good and she doesn't want you to get sick so I'm taking you guys to grandma and grandpa's and they are going to do something with you today and then you guys will spend the night and I'll pick you up in the morning. Okay?
K: Okay.
J: So get dressed and I'll start packing an overnight bag for you guys.
They start getting dressed and put a pair of clothes and a pair of pajamas for each of them in a bag, I grab 2 of their favorite toys and put them in the bag.
M: Can we bring our blankies?
J: Yeah. Grab your baby blanket and I'll put them in the bag.
K: Okay.
They hand me their blankets and I put them in the bag, we walk out to the living room and I start putting their shoes on. When I have their shoes on I put their coats on them, we walk out of the apartment and out to the car. I put them in their car seats and start driving to Mom and Dad's, when we get there I take them out of their car seats and grab the bag. We walk up to the front door and I ring the doorbell, Mom answers it a second later.
Mom: Oh hi hunny. What are you doing here?
J: Can I talk to you?
Mom: Yeah of course. Kaiden, Mason why don't you guys go watch tv in the living room with grandpa.
