Chapter 9

Since I got 'suspended' for a week, they still make me go to school with them. All I do is sit at their desk and mess around on my phone.

Right now it's lunch, and we are all in Uncle Zayns room. Dad went and bought us all Nandos. So here we are, eating chicken.

Suddenly I got a text from Tyer. Oooh Tyler!

From Tyler:

Meet me by my locker in 5?  ;) xx

A smile came across my lips.

To Tyler:

Yeah! See you in a few! xx

I couldn't stop smiling.

"Who are you texting, kiddo?" Uncle Liam asked.

"No one." I said making my smile go away.

Uncle Zayn winked at me and I chuckled. Everyone looked back and forth between us, and me and Uncle Zayn laughed.

"I have to go to the the bathroom." I said standing up.

I left the room, not waiting for a response, and walked down the hall to see Tyler standing by his locker.

"Hey!" He said when he looked up.

Oh my lanta, those green eyes.

"Hey," I said, standing next to him. "So, what's up?"

"Well, I was wondering.... If you would want to go on a date tomorrow?" He asked nervously.

A date? A..... Date. A FLUCKING DATE WITH HIM?! Ok.. Calm.... CaLm DowN.. StAY caLM!

"Yes ." I said as calmy as I could.

"Ok, I'll pick you up at noon." He said, then kissed my cheek and left.

I lifted my hand and touched my cheek. Oh.. My.. God.

The rest of the day went by with me texting Tyler, and dad trying to see who it was.

Right now we are at home waiting for dinner to be ready.

Any minute now...

Any min-

"DINNER!" Uncle Harry yelled.

I walked to the table and started to eat my food. Then my phone buzzed

From Tyler:

Do you want to meet up?

"Elsa, put your phone awat at the table." Dad said.

"Ugh!" I groaned, but put it away.

"Don't give me attitude Elsa, I'm not in the mood." He replied.

'Who said I was in the mood?' I thought.

I rolled my eyes earning a stern look from Uncle Liam.

"Should we go over the rules, Elsa? Because it looks like you've forgot most of them." Uncle Liam said.

"No-"

"Well, we are." He said, getting up to retrieve the 'rule list'.

"Here, read them out loud." He said handing them to me.

Really? This is stupid. I'm 12 years old. And there is a rule list.

"Ugh!

•Rule 1: No cussing.

•Rule 2: No talking back.

•Rule 3: No rolling eyes.

•Rule 4: No sneaking out.

•Rule 5: Do as I, or your uncles, say.

•Rule 6: No dating if I don't approve.

•Rule 7: No complaining or arguing.

•Rule 8: No phone at the table.

•Rule 9: No attitude.

•Rule 10: No drinking, smoking, or doing drugs.

If these rules are broken, you will have time out, stuff taken away, grounding, or all of the above.

Really? Why would I smoke, drink or do drugs?!" I said.

"You never know Elsa. Now, I know that some..... Or a lot of those have been broken, but you can restart. Starting now I don't want any of those rules broken. I have been laid back about it, but I'm not anymore. If you break those rules, I will do the consequences. I don't want them broken." Dad said sternly.

Everyone looked at him shocked that he could be thay stern.

"Ok." I said looking down.

After dinner, I went to my room.

To Tyler:

Sorry, had to put my phone away. Yeah!  Where do you want to meet up at?

From Tyler:

It's fine. The park?

To Tyler:

Perfect. See you soon! ;)

I checked the time to see them it was only 5:42. I got time.

I walked downstairs to aske dad if I could go to the park.

"Hey daddy?"

"Yes?"

"Can I go to the park?"

"No, it's almost 6 and it's getting dark soon."

"But dad! It's only 5:44!"

"Do you really want to start talking back? Do you remember dinner?" He said all moody.

"Fine. Goodnight." I grumbled.

"Night." He said.

I went upstairs and opened my window and felt the cool air.

Next thing I know, I am on the ground, breaking rule 4.
