Chpt 5 - Not So Secret Anymore (Mitch's POV)

I enter the guest room quickly, a wide smile on my face, "Hey!"

Azalea looks up from her monitor, her eyes wide, "Oh... hello there." She quickly types something.

"What you doing?" I ask, seeing she was fast becoming more anxious.

"I could easily ask you the same thing." She replies.

"I asked first." I respond.

"Alright." She sighs, "I'm playing Minecraft, what are you doing?"

"Minecraft?" I question, walking towards Azalea.

"Yes, now what are you doing? Something you wanna tell me?" She asks quickly. She seemed panicky, and I wasn't sure why.

"Yeah... I was just coming to tell you that-" I'm cut off by what I see on Azalea's computer, "Wait a second."

"M-Mitch... no." Azalea protests shakily.

"I recognise that..." I confess, reaching my hand out to the 'tab' key.

Azalea gets out of her seat at the speed of light. I take a look at the list of names on the server, wondering why Azalea was acting so skittish.

And then I knew why.

"Impossible." I whisper, seeing 'SkythekidRS' as one of the names.

"Mitch, no, let me explain..." Azalea walks towards me and grabs my arm.

"What is this?" I ask, "This is... this Adonia... what's going on?"

"I can explain everything, if you could just let me-"

I cut her off, "Adam's alive?" I look through the chat, the realisation getting to me, "He's alive? You've been talking to him?"

I look at her, she makes eye contact with me and nods a little, "Please... let me explain, don't get upset..."

"Upset?" I ask loudly, "You mean to say that you've been talking to Adam this whole time and he's actually been alive? How long have you been keeping this from me?"

"Calm down, we don't have to fight about this." Azalea says, taking my hand.

I snatch my hand back from hers, "Calm down?" I ask angrily, "Don't get upset? How can you expect me to do those things when you've been keeping this from me?" I yell.

"He made me promise, Mitch! He didn't want anyone to know!" She replies.

"How long has this been going on for?" I ask loudly, "What else have you been keeping from me?"

"Nothing!" She answers, "Please, just drop it, stop shouting."

"No! Everyone deserves to know!" I yell, "I just can't believe..." I turn away from Azalea, my hands up in the air as if I was surrendering.

Jerome appears at the door, "What's with all the shouting?" He asks.

"Nothing, Jerome." Azalea answers, "Leave us alone."

"Okay." Jerome starts to disappear but I call to him.

"No! Jerome, come back!" I shout.

He reappears, "What?"

"What if I told you that Adam is actually alive?" I ask, "And Aza has known all this time and she's been talking to him!"

"What?" He responds in surprise, looking at Azalea.

She steps back, glancing back and forth at both of us with a face of terror.

"How long has this been going on?" I ask loudly.
