"Aza... there's something I need to tell you." Mitch confesses.

"I'm not sure whether this is a great time right now." Azalea replies.

"Well... there might not be any other time."

Azalea sighs, "What is it?"

Mitch shuffles a little closer, "That incident in the park the other day..."

Azalea rolls her eyes, "You're not still worried about that, are you? I told you, I'm perfectly fine with it."

"No... Aza... me and Jerome we..." he never finishes.

Azalea turns back around to face him, "What is it?" She asks softly.

Mitch makes eye contact, but it doesn't last for long. He sighs and lowers his eyes, "I can't lie to you." He takes a deep breath, "What happened in the park... it was a little more than holding hands."

Azalea doesn't say anything.

"I love you, Aza. But recent events have had me thinking... maybe I... maybe I'm not right for you."

Azalea looked slightly confused, but she still refused to say anything.

"Aza I... I think... I think I love J-"

Azalea suddenly panics, "Mitch." She looks out the window again, "No." She stands up, "NO!"

"What?" Mitch asks in desperation.

"I'm really sorry." Azalea steps onto the ledge, "And... I know you love Jerome. And... I have a few secrets too, but they're gonna have to wait."

"Aza?" Mitch stands up, "What are you doing?"

Azalea turns around to face the battle, "Farewell." She steps off the ledge.

"No!" Mitch runs towards the window, "Aza!" He shrieks.

He breathes a sigh of relief as he sees her flying towards the battle. But his feelings of relief didn't even last 5 seconds as what he saw next made him run for the door.

                                                                ***

"Sky!" Azalea cries. She lands beside his motionless body, "Sk-Sky!" She collapses onto her knees, "A-Adam?" Her hands start to tremble as she takes off his helmet and props his head up with her arm, wrapping her other arm around his shoulders, "Adam? Stay with me! Look at me! Look at me!"

"Urgh..." he groans weakly.

"Adam! You're gonna be okay!" Azalea responds, her vision starting to blur with tears.

Shadow continues to threaten Herobrine by pointing her sword at his throat, “Give me one reason why I shouldn’t take your head off right now.”

Herobrine trembles in fear, sweat starting to pour down his forehead, “If you kill me, you’ll never have a chance to save SkyDoesMinecraft.”

Azalea pauses, looking up from Adam for a few moments, “What did he just say?”

“You heard me!” Herobrine shouts, “I can save him, I can save all of you!”

“Aza!” Mitch runs towards her, “What’s happening?”

“Oh no…” Jerome whispers, sprinting over to the scene with the rest of the Team.

“He’s… he’s dying.” Azalea says shakily, “Adam?”

“Look.” Herobrine says, “I can make a deal, I can save him, but it comes at a price.”

Shadow raises an eyebrow, “What kind of price?”

“Well… you could potentially lose your memories and you’ll never be able to return to this world.” Herobrine explains.

“I could live with that.” Ian responds.

“And you could all end up in any place in time; it could be 10 or maybe 20 years before this day.” Herobrine adds.

“Why would we do that, then?” Quentin asks.

“Well look at the bright side,” Herobrine smirks, “I die, you get to have a second chance at life and as I understand… some would get a chance to spend their last days with the one they truly love.”

Mitch liked that idea. He liked that idea a lot.

“So what do you think, Team Crafted?” Herobrine asks, “You have a chance to forget that this whole thing ever happened.”

“You’d do that for us?” Shadow asks.

“Yes, for there is one thing you must understand.” Herobrine says, “The day I disappeared all those years ago was when I discovered a prophecy older than any other I’d ever known. It predicted the fate of Minecraftia, how one day it would fall to a man of gold in order for other worlds to live. I set out to stop this fate, but now I understand, that the world has to fall to me, in order to let your realm live. I can save all of you, and one giant and terrible mistake can be fixed.”

The Team glance at each other, wondering whether to believe that what Herobrine was saying was the truth.

“So what you’re saying is…” Ian says, “If we let you do this, our lives return back to normal?”

“Yes.” Herobrine confirms, “And SkyDoesMinecraft lives.”

Azalea looks up at the Team with a face of desperation, “Please.”

“I don’t know, Aza…” Quentin says.

“Please!” she looks down on Adam, “He’s dying! I don’t want to live without him.”

The Team look at each other, weighing up the options. The answer seemed obvious, but they had no idea what they were doing. Herobrine could be lying; it could all be a trick.

“Adam?” Azalea asks, her voice trembling, “Do you think it would be a good idea?”

He nods weakly, “Anything… to be with… the one I love.”

The Team look towards Shadow, and she instantly knew what their decision was. She looks down at Herobrine, “Do what you have to do.” She whispers.

Herobrine closes his eyes, the Team watch in shock and amazement as blocks from trees, buildings and the ground start to lift up into the air, slowly fading as they rose high above everyone’s heads. The world began to disappear, block by block.

Mitch and Jerome joined hands, “I’m never going to let go.” Mitch whispers.

Azalea continues to stare at Adam as he grew weaker, tears falling down her cheeks as he took in his finale sharp breath. She takes one last look at the dying world around her and lays a kiss upon Adam’s lips, clamping her eyes shut as she felt a tugging sensation from inside.

This was it, from here the Team had no idea where they were going, or where they would end up. They just had to put their faith in their greatest enemy, who was now their greatest hero.
