"You're quite quiet today, aren't you, Jason?" Herobrine taunts, summoning fireballs to throw at Jason.

"I just want to get the job done." Jason replies, blocking Herobrine's projectile.

"And then what?" Herobrine asks threateningly, "You'll finally get to be with your one true love, Shadow?" he summons another projectile, "Oh it makes me want to cry. But Shadow doesn't love you anymore. Once this battle is over, you'll have no-one."

Jason lowers his hands, swirls and patterns of frost begin to form around his feet.

"That's... if you even survive this battle." Herobrine adds, "Goodbye, MinecraftUniverse." He thrusts out his hands at the speed of light.

Suddenly, an unknown force sweeps Jason off his feet; he flies 20 blocks backwards as if he'd just got the aftershock of a bomb going off. He lands heavily on the ground, rolling over.

Herobrine laughs at Jason's motionless body, "You are weak! With nothing worth fighting for, you are useless!"

"Honey!"

Herobrine smiles, "Shadow, my dear!"

Shadow lands just a few blocks behind him, swinging her sword in her hand like a cowboy does with a gun, "I was going to help, but it looks like you're doing a pretty good job yourself!"

"Ha-ha-ha... thanks." Herobrine responds, "What have you been doing, my sweet?"

"Oh you know... shooting the enemy from above, helping you in any way I can!" Shadow was still directly behind Herobrine, acting all friendly as she raised her sword. She edges closer, Herobrine's fate was in her hands... all she had to do was-

"Herobrine!"

"Sky?" Shadow asks.

Adam draws his sword, "Bring it, Herobrine."

Shadow quickly lowers her sword as Herobrine turns his head to face her. She smiles innocently.

"I don't need you to help me with this fight, Shadow." Herobrine says, "Go after the queen instead."

"I... err... of course!" Shadow flies away towards the castle.

                                                                   ***

"S**t." Shadow throws her sword down in frustration.

"What?" Azalea responds, "What happened?"

"That f**king *ssh*l* of a king just ruined our plan." Shadow replies, "Our perfectly thought out plan!"

"Err..."

"I don't know what you see in him, you know." Shadow confesses, "He's so dumb and non-observant I don't even know how he's still alive."

"We have to try again." Azalea says, "It's the only way."

"Herobrine won't let me near him while he fights Sky, though!" Shadow protests, "If I try again, I'll be too suspicious!"

"Well... you can just tell him that you've finished me off and you have nothing else to do so-" Azalea hesitates, "Wait. Herobrine is fighting Sky?"

"Yes!" Shadow answers, "Herobrine is fighting Sky! He has just ruined all of our plans!"

Azalea's eyes go wide, "Screw the plan."

"What?" Shadow shouts.

"I said screw the God damn plan!" Azalea cries, "We need to help him! He won't even last 5 seconds."

Shadow sighs angrily, "Fine." She picks up her sword, "I'll go back down there, say that I've killed you and that I've come to help kill Sky. Then I'll sneak behind Herobrine and stab that little s**tt**g *ssh*l*!"

"Woah watch the language."

"Do you think I give a s**t about what language I use right now?" Shadow asks fumingly, "I just want this battle done, over and finished." She steps up towards the window of Azalea's room again, "Now, any objections?"

Azalea shakes her head.

"Good." Shadow responds, "Adios!"

                                                                   ***

                                                   (Mitch's Perspective)

The battle was going well (at least from what I can see), we were managing to keep these mobs at bay with our fighting skills. But I was concerned for Azalea. I didn't know where she was, or what she was doing, or why she was making no show. I just hope she's okay.

I finish off another Skeleton and glance up at the sky for a moment, something large and black catching my eye. I focus my vision on it, and see that it's Shadow - what is she doing?

I see her fly into one of the windows of the castle. Azalea's room. Oh no. Presuming that she's still evil and presuming that Azalea is in her room... well...

"Jerome!" I shout at him.

"What?" he responds loudly.

"If anyone needs me, I'll be in the castle! There's something I've gotta check on!" I inform him.

"Okay!"

I run through the crowd of mobs and Sky Army Recruits, occasionally stabbing the odd Zombie or Spider if I needed to.

I sprint into the castle and navigate its twisting corridors and lengthy hallways; finally I climb the stairs and run towards Azalea's room.

"Aza?" I call out into the dimly lit hallway. I stop at her door and put my ear up to it, I only hear silence.

I expect the worst as I open the door swiftly, entering the room in a flash.

"Mitch! My God, you scared the s**t out of me."

"Aza?" I ask, "Are you okay?" she's kneeling down just underneath the window with her back against the wall.

"I'm fine, get down!" she orders.

I drop to my hands and knees in a panic, "What are you doing?"

"I'm hiding. You have to keep out of sight, understand?" she says sternly.

"Okay... why?" I ask.

"It's part of our plan... and I'm not just about to let you muck it up like Adam did."

"Err... who's 'our'?" I question, crawling towards her slowly.

"Me and Shadow." She answers, "We've got this thing in the bag and so now all we need to do is keep a low profile."

"Shadow?"

"Yes! Shadow! God you're slow today." She moans. "She remembers who she is now, so we've made a plan to destroy Herobrine. It was going to work perfectly until Adam screwed it up without realising."

"What? You're not making any sense. What do you mean Adam screwed it up?"

"You know what? Never mind." Azalea responds, "You shouldn't be here anyway, it will cause suspicion."

"Aza! Just tell me what you're doing!" I command.

"Shadow is going to pretend to help Herobrine kill Sky so she can then kill Herobrine. I have to pretend to be dead so Shadow can say that she killed me so she can help Herobrine. Comprendere?"

"Err..." I shake my head.

"Just stay low and quiet." She turns around and peeps her head just above the window sill.

"What's going on down there?" I ask.

She narrows her eyes, "Not sure." She sighs, "I just hope this works."
