I think 3 hours is enough time for Azalea to stew over her problems. Heck it's pretty late now, it's getting dark.

I'd been walking around LA for almost 3 hours now, thinking about life. Why did Azalea betray me like that? Why did she never tell me? And what am I supposed to do now that I know that Adam is actually alive?

These 3 questions had been whirling around my head all evening, and I had no answers to any of them.

I enter the house quietly, as to not to wake anyone inside. I get ready for bed silently, not even taking a second thought on whether Jerome had returned back to the house or not. I heard him shouting for me earlier, but he never found me.

I climb into bed, turning my back on Azalea as she lay with her eyes closed. I lay there for a few minutes, staring into the darkness, until I hear Azalea shifting next to me.

"Mitch?" she says nervously.

I don't move a muscle, too angry with her to say anything. She gets the message and turns away with a shaky breath.

                                                   (Third Person POV)

Azalea carefully gets out of bed; it was 2 in the morning. She'd hardly got any sleep, knowing Mitch absolutely detested her now.

She makes her way down to the kitchen, perhaps a midnight snack would help her drift off.

Azalea sighs as she sees someone ate the last kiwis (fact: kiwis help you sleep, no joke) and instead gets out the bread and peanut butter. She just got half way through spreading peanut butter on her second slice of bread when a voice from the darkness startled her.

"Can't sleep?" Jason asks.

Azalea freezes, not quite sure how to respond for a few moments, "No. I'm starting my bad eating habits again."

Jason reveals himself from the darkness and walks over to Azalea, picking up the jar of peanut butter, he smirks, "This is probably the best bad eating habit I've seen."

Azalea giggles quietly, taking a bite out of her slice of bread.

"You know... Adam used to snack on-" Jason pauses midsentence and looks at Azalea, then looks back down, "Nevermind."

"It's okay." Azalea replies, "I already know."

Jason smiles, showing his teeth.

"What you doing up anyway?" Azalea asks.

"I... I don't know. I couldn't sleep either I guess." Jason answers, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Okay." Azalea replies, taking another bite.

"No." Jason protests, "I can't lie to you. I was actually thinking about Shadow, how I could be with her again..." he smiles, "I wanted to ask you about what I should do."

Azalea swallows and looks at Jason, "I could talk with Scarlet and arrange something. Perhaps you could teleport yourself there."

"Hmm..." he ponders, "That could work."

Azalea smiles, "Yeah." She places a hand on Jason's shoulder.

He glances at Azalea's arm, wondering whether he should proceed with the actions that were going through his mind. Jason takes her arm and pulls her in; Azalea carefully places her half eaten slice of bread on the plate, not breaking the eye contact between them.
