I walked down the hallway and stopped at my locker.
I struggled to remember my combination. I opened it on the third time, 11-6-14.
I didn't see Hector this morning. He must of been sick or something.
I walked into homeroom and sat down. Everybody was quiet and stated at me.
"I'm not an alien guys. Stop looking at me like that."
"Are... Are you okay?" Nicole furrowed her eyebrows.
"Yeah I'm fine. My meds just messed me up for awhile."
Aria pursed her lips. Camille ran into the room and hugged me.
"I couldn't go up to see you! Are you okay? You practically ran out of English then you didn't come back to get your stuff or anything. Then I learned you passed out? I guess Anna found you in the hallway near the bathroom." She grabbed my shoulders.
"Sorry, I guess you heard what went wrong?"
"Yeah I did. I'm sorry Sara."
"It's okay, really, it is." It wasn't but I had to reassure them "Aria, I liked the duck by the way."
"Wasn't it a nice touch? Did you name him yet?"
"Name him?"
"As in give him a name?" she have me a look as if to say 'uhm duh!'
"No I haven't given him a name. When did the duck become a boy anyway?"
"It seemed more like a boy. I think you should name him Harold."
"Ok, yeah the ducks name will be Harold."
She grinned and I laughed. "Since you claim not to be an alien I have some homework to do...?"
"What's the question?" I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"My first question is... What's the date?"
"Oh my god Aria! It's November 4th."
This was just like good old times. I wish it could be like this all the time. If only.
