Anna's POV
At school everybody asked.
"Did you know her?"
Yes of course.
"How did she die?"
I can't talk about it.
"Why are you so worked up?"
Because my friend just died.
Some people understood, they would apologize to me. I didn't know why they apologized but it made me feel like somebody cared about her.
When we saw her locker, without a lock, empty Camille had a fit.
She immediately went down to the office and demanded that this school would never forget Sara Trithe. She said that her locker should have the door taken off, things out inside, sort if like a shrine.
It was a good idea but it was a little odd, I must admit. It happened though.
Sara's locker was full of posters and stuffed animals. The biggest being Harold the duck.
I knew we wouldn't leave Harold for too long, he was practically a part of Sara now. A memory.
That's what Sara was now. A memory.
