Garnet speed down the streets, weaving in and out of traffic rushing to be by Peri side. She held back as many tears as she could trying to be strong in front of Ameythst and Pearl, who were both freaking out and sobbing uncontrollably.
"I.. I put out the status.. I don't.. k-know what else we could have done! No one is responding! I..it's just a bunch of likes!" Pearl choked out.
"They don't believe us! Why not! Everyone knows how Peri is! Do they not fucking care!?" Ameythst flailed angerly in the back seat.
"Both out you quiet!! You'll just have to hope that Peri is still ok, or that someone got to her and they are too busy to say something! I can't focus with you both losing your minds!" Garnet yelled, straightening them both out. " Believe me, I'm just as worried about her, if not more. But this isn't the first time this has happened, and it won't be the last. As much as I hate saying that. We have made it to her before, we can do it again." Garnet turned her attention back to the road, sighing heavily. She had been with Peri through alot in the few years she had known her. She had spent most waking moments with her when they first met. Garnet had always known about Peri's desire to die, but had always prevented it. She was like a little sister to her. Garnet could not think of a day without Peri being near her, let alone at least receiving a text. Garnet wiped at her eyes. " You better still be alive. You better Peri.. I swear to God." Cars honked and swerved out of the way, as they speed towards Peridot.

Word had gotten out to Jasper, and she decided to scroll and find the post for herself.
"You don't think it's real do you Jasper?"
"Why would we care anyway, that's what the little tramp wants." Jasper ignored them as she read through the comments. All of them starting as a laughing matter, some asking for updates if she was alive and ok. Others arguing back and forth. She rolled her eyes and put her phone back in her pocket, and rubbed her arm.
" Jasper?"
She looked up and over at the girl talking to her. She sighed and looked down before answering. "If you are going to ask if I care... Yes.. I do.. I honestly didn't mean to drive her to this.. not after all she did to help me.. I don't know why I am like this. Or why I wanted her to hurt so bad."
"What do you mean after all she did for you?"
"She was there when I lost my parents. She was my only friend when no one wanted to be around me because of my skin problem. Peridot was the only one that saw me for me. And I turned against her because.. arghh.. I'm leaving." Jasper put her hands in her jacket pockets, turned and walked away, leaving her groupies quiet and unable to figure out what to do with that information. Jasper went and sat in the library, thinking of how things were before they had made it into high school. Everyday she had spent with Peri, and Garnet when they had met her in middle school. Peridots family had let Jasper stay with them until everything could be figured out for where she would stay. In that two year time, Peri had shared everything with Jasper, and even let her have the things she wanted. Jasper ran her hand through her hair, feelig something in her stomach that she thought wouldn't happen again. She closed her eyes, trying to regain composer. But the thoughts and memories flooded back even harder. She remembered when little tiny Peri had stood up for her when bullies were picking on her about her skin. And how Peri ended up being beat up for it. The more and more that came to Jasper, the more the tears had poured. Making a puddle on the table. Her body shook with every breath and cough as she cried more and more, finally letting out what she had kept hidden for so long. She couldn't bare the thought of what it would be like with Peri, and knew that if not for her, she would be in this position, if not dead. 'What would her parents think or say to me if they knew? Do they know? They hate me.. I.. I hate me..' she thought, slumping over and covering her face into her arms.

Peri closed her eyes as she tipped herself forward, opening her arms. ' Good bye everyone, good bye mysterious girl that stares at me. I guess I wish we could have met. Even to you Jasper.' Peri thought as she felt the wind pick up around her. Tears started to soak her cheek as she plummeted, only a second later to feel something grab her leg.

Lapis reached for her hoodie, trying to grab her before she fell and missed. "FUCK!!" She yelled as she dropped to her knees, sticking out both hands in hopes of still catching her. When she felt her leg Lapis gripped as hard as she could, the momentum slamming her face again the balcony railing. " O-ow..!!!" She howled, gritting her teeth but not letting go. Peri opened her eyes and looked up, seeing two hands holding her as she dangled there.
"Someone help me!!! Please!!" She heard someone yell. The voice sounded familiar, but Peri was still not certain who it was. She looked back at the ground that she was supposed to have hit by now, and looked at towards the street. She saw many people crowding around at the bottom with phones in their hands, a few with it to their ears. Tires screeched around the corner a second later, pulling her attention towards it. Again and again the person called out for help, and seemed to be talking to her, but she was too dazed to understand anything at this moment. She saw as the car pulled up closer, bouncing up the curb a bit and stopping, three people getting out and looking back to whoever was holding her. She could feel their grip loosening as their arms began to shake. 'Maybe now I will fall.' She thought closing her eyes again.

Lapis struggled to keep Peri in her hands, but she could feel herself slipping. She grunted as she slowly stood and began to lift up with all the strength that she had left. She fought hard, Waiting for the three that yelled back at her to get her already. She started crying as she pulled, hoping and praying that she did not drop her. She screamed out as she felt her arms give out, and three pairs of other arms reach over and grab Peri. Lapis fell back against the screen door as she looked up to see Garnet, Pearl and Ameythst pull up Peri back onto the porch. Lapis sighed, wiping at the tears as she watched the others huddle around her, all frantically shouting and hugging her. She noticed Pearl move to her, mouthing out the words thank you, for she couldn't hear. It was as if her heart was in her ears. Lapis just nodded and smiled. Pearl then grabbed her arm, making her notice the blood and splinters decorating it. She looked at where she just was, and noticed the gnarled wood. She began to get light headed as she felt Pearl tap her face, trying in vain to keep her awake. The last thing she could see was Peri's green eyes, blankly staring right at her.
