Soon enough, Lapis got tired of sitting outside. The wind was starting to become chilly, and it's pace picking up. She squinted as her hair and Peri's blew wildly around. She positioned Peri in her lap, and propped herself up, making sure Peri was secure, and stood up, walking through the balcony door, and setting her on the bed. Since Peri had cleaned the other day, the room was nice and tidy, save a few clothes that were tossed around. She found the kitchen and cups, filling up one with water. Peri had not really moved, expect for small fidgets and shifting.
"Hey.. you need to drink water." Lapis motioned the cup towards her. Peri looked at it, then at Lapis, before looking away again. "Well fine.. but you will drink the water one way or another." Softly, she tipped Peri's head back, her mouth opened, and carefully she let some into her mouth. Peri stayed that way, and didn't swallow it. Lapis sighed, getting frustrated. She sat there looking at her, and thought. Finally she came to an idea. She breathed in, and climbed on to Peri's lap. She felt her flinch, but still did nothing. Slowly, Lapis put her right hand on her cheek, and leaned Peri's head on it, exposing her neck. Lapis moved down, watching as Peri shivered and goosebumps started to appear. She breathed out, her nose touching against Peri's neck. There was a hard swallow right after, and Lapis smiled. Peri raised her hand up to Lapis's holding it closer against her cheek.
"You drank the water, good girl." Lapis said softly, the hair on the back of Peri's neck standing up. Lapis bit down on her neck very softly, but it was enough to get a reaction out of Peri. Her hand lightly tensed against hers, and she breathed in heavily. Peri had never had this happen to her, not anyone sit in her lap like this. Her eyes had opened wide and she looked at Lapis, holding her neck.
" W-what did you do to me?"
"I bit you. Have you never been bitten before?" Peri was quiet. " Did you like it?" Peri thought for alittle, and nodded slowly. " Well maybe if your drink the whole cup of water AND eat something, I will do it again." Lapis said looking Peri in the eye. She looked down, quiet for a little bit, and frowned, finally nodding.
" Ok.. I will. Why.. are you still here though..?"
" Because I am watching you. So that means I'm staying the night." Peri jerked up, almost knocking Lapis over. "What! Y-y-your staying the night?"
"Yes."
" Tonight?"
"Yes."
"With me? Sleeping in the same bed?"
"Yes. Unless you prefer me to be on the floor, which is fine."
"NO! I.. I mean.. you can stay on the bed.. please.."
"Food and water."
"Huh..? Oh, yes.. ok.." Lapis moved and sat on the bed, while Peri finished off the rest of the cup of water, and got up to find something to eat. She walked sluggishly, with no motivation. She opened cabinets and the fridge, grabbing various things and coming back, laying them on the bed and staring at them, unsure of what to choose. Lapis waited, watching her and sighed, grabbing bread and breaking it into bite sized pieces. " Open up." Peri yet again looked at her, and didn't move.
Lapis put it in her mouth, thinking the only way Peri would respond and listen was with alittle incentive. "Come eat this."
"F-from your mouth..? But.."
"You won't eat it any other way, not will you listen to me. So this is the best next option."
"But I.. it's your.."
Lapis's eyes opened wide. " You have never kissed someone huh? That's why you are timid.. which means you're a.. hehehe.." Peri blushed and looked away, feeling embarrassed and defensive.
"Well.. not everyone likes me that way o-.. what are you doing?" Peri could feel the bed shifting as Lapis got closer to her. She had just ate the small bit of bread, and was now nose to nose with Peri. Peridot froze up and stared, her heart beat beating faster and faster. 'Oh my god! She's going to..! I'm gonna kiss her!' Peri thought. She looked back at Lapis, and took in her features, never really paying attention until now. Her soft cheeks, and the light smile her lips made. Her calming blue eyes. She really was beautiful, which made no sense as to why she would like her in Peri's mind. Lapis leaned in, closing her eyes, and kissed Peri. She felt her move back, but did not break the contact. Peridot's eyes looked back at Lapis's closed eyes, and closed hers, following her lead. Peri noticed how soft her lips were, and felt calmer as the kiss went on. The bags of food and such under Lapis crumpled as she moved closer, getting more into it. She soon broke it, causing Peri to lean forward, apperently not done.
"Oh God Peri.. I'm sorry.. I should have stopped it awhile ago.. After all you've been through today.. that I'm sorry.." Lapis looked up in time to see Peri making the advance, kissing her this time and continuing to crawl forward until she was on top.
"I... never thanked you for saving me.. I'm just so lonely and I feel so unwanted.. but right now.. I've never felt this wanted in my life.." She said after shortly breaking the kiss. " I wanna keep feeling like this.. please.. even if it's just for tonight.. Want me.. love me.." Lapis bit at her own lip, wanting nothing more than to help Peri. And she finally gave into her desire, trying to reason with herself that it would make Peri happy. She knocked the food off the bed, and flipped Peri on her back, her legs propped up on hers. They looked at each other awhile longer, a slight hesitation in Lapis's eyes. Peri lifted her hand to her cheek, her own eyes pleading. "Please.. you can leave in the morning if you want.. just.. do this for me tonight.."
" Why am I attracted to you so much." Lapis said quietly, and kissed Peri before she could respond. Peri's heart fluttered and a strange feeling rised up in her, seeming to start at the pit of her stomach. She was scared, but didn't want it to stop. This was the most alive she had felt in a while.
