Will I ever be satisfied? That stupid question runs through my head almost every second of every day now.

Ever since he married Eliza.. I've been different. Recently I've been talking with Angelica and she notices it as well.

I'm not saying I'm not happy for Alex and Eliza, I just don't know how to process this all.

Eliza deserves happiness, especially after all the kind and caring things she does for everyone.

Maybe that's why he married her? Eliza is probably one of the most trusting and kind person I know.

As much as you can call it jealously.. it's not. Think of it as you are longing for someone, yet you can't reach them. Then eventually you give up and lose them.

I can't help but remember that night. The Winter's Ball. I was so happy that night, well to start it off at least.

The sisters walked in proud, adored by all. Not a single eye not on them. Then there was me. I just simply followed behind, seeming like a major outcast.

Eliza of course had noticed and moved by my side, cheering me up with a few words then pranced off to find Angelica.

I walked around, not exactly sure if I should interact with anyone. I was mostly confident with talking with the sisters. Although I cannot find them.

Eventually I just give up and lean against the wall. The beautiful white textured walls complimented the lighting just perfectly.

For a while I was just watching over everyone. Observing almost. Each person was here for certain reasons. As to how I got here is a good question.

I was really bored at this point, but then I heard doors open. As the doors open, it appeared to be these very loud men screaming, "Ladies!"

I sighed. Could this night get any more weird? I looked back up at the group of men, scanning over each one. Until my eye landed on him.

That moment when I saw him, something changed for me. He and the group of men were walking around, chatting amongst themselves.

The one I saw, came up to me with a energetic smile.

"Hello, Miss." He was short, but handsome at that. I couldn't even say my own name. So smooth.

He cleared his throat awkwardly. "Miss? Excuse me, are you alright?"

I snapped to my senses and smiled politely. "Yes, I'm alright. Thank you for your concern. I'm (Y/N) (L/N), it's very nice to meet you."

My mother taught me that it's good to always be polite to others, especially on occasions like this. She was my mentor for everything.

"It's my pleasure. Alexander Hamilton." His expression changes slightly, and surprises me with the words I thought I would never hear. "You strike me as a woman who has never been satisfied."

I scoff, and turn from him slightly. "I'm sure I don't know what you mean, you forget yourself."

Our conversation carried on for a few more moments before he pops up a question. "Would you like to dance?" He extends his hand out with a smile.

This man.. he was intriguing me more and more. But why? I put that thought aside for the time and take his hand. He then led me out into the dance floor.

I placed a hand on his shoulder and his hand rested on my waist. Our free hands intertwined, and so our dance had begun.

It was three minutes, our dance felt like we floated in the air. Every step we took, and that stupid grin of his as well.

Everything around us felt like it didn't matter, it was only us. Dancing along to the music that was being played.

As our dance came to an end, the magic that I felt around went away.

We stepped away from each other, a dust a pink swept over my cheeks.
"I suppose I will see you around Alexander.."

I walked off, my sigh sounded longing for him. He was just so perfect.. then I noticed Eliza looking over at someo- no. No.. I can't be.

Right?

She was looking at Alex, in her eyes she was helplessly in love with him already.

I felt hurt inside but I had chosen to hide it all. Eliza had come up to me to whisper, "This ones' mine~"

I had nodded and given her a smile before walking off to Alexander.

I had tapped his shoulder and he had turned around to me.

"Hello again Miss (L/N)!" He gently grabbed my hand and placed a soft kiss on my knuckles.

"Hello Colonel Hamilton, do you see my friend over there? She's in the blue dress over there, the beautiful and stunning beauty?" I looked up to him, his cheeks flushed red.

"I do.. " I take his arm as he goes back to his senses, taking my arm in response.

"Where are you taking me?" He asks, a slight smirk curving at his lips.

"I'm about to change your life!" I smile, trying to pull through with my happy act.

"Then by all means, lead the way." Eventually we arrive in front of Eliza, who was trying to keep her cool.

She curtsies and stands back up straight at Alexander. "Elizabeth Schuyler, it's a pleasure to meet you."

"Schuyler?" Alex asks turning to me slightly.

"My best friend."

Their conversation carries on for a few more moments before he takes her hand and places a kiss on her knuckles.

I force my final smile and wave. "I'll leave you too it!"

I walk off, breathing out a heavy sigh. But Alexander, I will never forget the first time I saw your face. I have never been the same.

I walk around until I bump into someone, I land on my butt and look up to see a familiar face.

My eyes widen and a huge smile spreads across my face. That familiar face..

Ooh! Okay so I left it at a semi-cliffhanger so you guys can comment who that person should be! Once again I apologize for not updating as much as I want to but I'll get this show back on the road. Suggest anyone or plot and I'll give a shot at it!
Lemons are allowed but I'll give a warning at the beginning.
Thank you all so much for your love and support. Here's a hug (Huug!) Have a nice day and you will live to see your glory. :)
