It was a peaceful day at the beach, you see where you live is pretty quiet for time to time. Well, that's until they walked by.

You were one of the lifeguards and honestly you liked your job. Well one out of two jobs, your other job was at a cafe where your old friend Lafayette worked. He would always talk about his friends but you never really got the chance to meet them.

Today was that day. You could hear their screaming and laughing all the way from the parking lot, which was a bit far off.

You cringed a bit, and carried on with sitting and watching over everyone. Your work shift was almost over anyways so you could try avoiding them.

Hey, you want to go home and watch Netflix it's the truth.

While the gang of guys were being very obnoxious and annoying in your opinion you happen to notice someone.

He had the most adorable freckles dotted all over his face. You couldn't help but swoon.

While you were daydreaming the group had walked over to you. You were snapped out by a familiar accent yelling your name.

"Mon amie! Bonjour Y/N!" Lafayette was yelling at you until you looked down at the group and smiled.

"Hey," You smiled and did a small wave. When you took a glance at man you were staring at before you couldn't help but blush.

"Y/N you never told me you hads a job here!" Lafayette was speaking in a tone that sounded like he was flirting with you? "Ah, I forgot let me introduce you to the guys! Y/N this is Alex, John, Hercules and Aaron! Guys this is Y/N!"

They all say hello to you and you noticed your shift was over. You got down for the watch tower and waved to the guys once again.

"It's a pleasure meeting you all," You smiled until a certain someone took you hand and kissed the top of it.

Yup you guessed it, it was John. Your cheeks flushed red and you were trying to stop your smile.

"The name's John Laurens, nice to meet you beautiful." He winks at you and stands back next to the guys with that cheeky grin of his.

"U-Uhh.." Your face was bright red
and thankful Alex broke the awkward silence that had lingered.

"Anyways.. how about we give you our contacts and we can all chat more!" Alex suggested, and that's probably the most calmest thing he's said all day.

"That sounds like a great idea!" You cheer and you put everyone's contact into your phone as you do for them. Well aside from Lafayette since you already know him.

"Anyways I think we should all part ways for the day, I think some families don't want their children near us." Hercules said.

"That's probably true.." Aaron spoke up, dang he has been really quiet.

"But guyyyyyys, do we have to? I mean we just met Y/N!" You smiled at John's comment.

"I need to go home but all of you have my number so text me when you get the chance!" You smiled at them and waved goodbye to them. Then walking off to your car.

John's POV

"She was so pretty too....." My thoughts were replaced Lafayette dragging me to his car so he could send everyone home.

On the way back I could help but think about Y/N. Once I get home I'll text her! But wait, what if she doesn't want to talk to me? Was I to straight forward? Does she like turtles?

Gah, to many questions! Well I guess I could take the time to text her once I'm home.

Also her butt looked great in that swimsuit..

Haha, they seem very fun to be around. No wonder why Lafayette wanted to introduce me to them.

I'm glad he did, John I think? He was super cute! Wait. I just met him, oh mer gerd! Ha.. his flirting though..

Oh? A text! Annnd it's from Alex!

Hammy- Hey, it's Alex. I'm not sure you know but John has the major hots for you. When we got to the beach he kept trying to impress you and talked about you non-stop. You're one lucky gal Y/N oh and btw don't tell him I said this he'll kill me.

You- I won't. Haha, have a good night Hammy!

Hammy- Stop calling me that!

Well I guess that answered one of my biggest questions. Hm, maybe I can call him and get to know him more.

I took your phone and called John, he picked up and a conversation started instantly.

"Okay, so last question. Turtles or Me? Hehehe." I laughed in embarrassment and waited for his reply.

"That's a difficult question Y/N! But if I had to choose I would choose you!" John and you both went silent, on my line I looked like a tomato and he was beginning to regret everything.

I started giggling and both of you were in a laughing fit. Who knew we would click so easily?

"Haha, sorry about that. It's just I never ever hear anything like that." I say. John bursts out, startling me.

"Never?! You are the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on, gladly anyone would ask you out!" I guess in his book he was trying the best to his ability to confess his feelings.

"Aww, thank you. But alas I'll say that's the truth, most likely people would chose anything else over me.." I sigh, trying very hard not to say what Alex told me.

"Well I guess I'm the first, but I'm not lying. Every word I'm saying to you now is honest and true." John meant this from the bottom of his heart and even though he just met you, he is so happy to have met someone beautiful and amazing. No matter how much you would ever say you look bad he loved you.

"J-John.. heh, okay I can't keep myself from saying this anymore. Yes I know we just met today and I really want to hang out with you more so do you want to go on a date with me..?" I feel like I'm going to faint soon.

"Are you kidding me?! Of course I will but I should've been the one to ask! Wait, does this mean we're boyfriend and girlfriend?" I could hear him smile while speaking.

"Of course it means that, and I would love the honor of being called your girlfriend. Hey while we're on the phone do you want to head out and spend some more time together in person?" I ask, I'm just way to happy now.

"Sure! I can go to your house if that's okay, but I'll need your address ha.." I smiled, he's so cute.

"Of course! I'll text you it and I'll see you soon!" Maybe I could say one more thing...

"Yeah! I'll see you soon!" John says.

"I love you!" I say and laugh when I hear him freaking out and I end the call.

"I love you too, I can't wait to say that a million times over in person."
