I made a resolution yesterday to call Micale first thing in the morning. So here I am now, waiting for him to answer the phone. I didn’t know where he went yesterday night. He hasn’t even messaged anyone. He just disappeared like that.

It was 9:43 in the morning and I have called him 3 times and he still hasn’t answered the phone. The line went dead and I dialed his number again.

I’ve called him for the eight time this morning and still no answer. I got frustrated and threw my phone to the other side of the room where I knew there were cushions to land its fall. I screamed in frustration in my pillow and got up.

“What’s got you so frustrated in the morning?” Becky said entering my room.

“He won’t answer my calls.” I whined.

“Maybe he’s still mad at you.”

“Maybe but he won’t let me explain or apologize!”

“Then go meet him at his house.” She was sitting in front of my vanity.

“I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHERE HE LIVES!” I grumbled.

“You’ve been dating for 4 months and he still hasn’t taken you to his house? Weird guy.” She commented.

“I don’t know what to do!”

“You do nothing. You tried but he didn’t answer. Maybe you can try again later but right now we have to go pick up Reed so go get ready. He’s annoying when we pick him up late.” She got up and left the room leaving me to fend for myself.

I took a deep breath and got ready to meet Reed. He would question me and scold me but like Becky said I can try later.

An hour later, Becky and I were driving to meet Reed. My parents had to go to a meeting but will be home later tonight. I was driving my car and Becky was singing off tune to Taylor Swift.

“You really are tone deaf, aren’t you Becky?” I criticized her awful singing.

“Hmph! At least I try. I’m not like you! You have a voice to die for and yet you hide it. I envy you but you don’t care! This is your divine punishment! You are to listen to me sing while you drive.” She puffed out air and crossed her arms like a child.

“Fine, but if we get into an accident I’m blaming your very horrible singing.” I said dramatically. She chose to ignore me and continue her assault to my ears.

Half way through the song I joined along. We sung to the music as we drove to pick up my ever so lovable brother. When we got there I saw my brother impatiently tapping his foot on the ground.

“UGLY OGRE!” I shouted and ran to him.

“You’re late you smelly flower!” He insulted. He gave me that nickname when we were young. We were playing then and I fell into a canal. I smelled awful so it kinda stuck the ‘smelly’ part anyway but it didn’t go with my name so he just said flower.

“Not my fault! I was already speeding. Blame Becky.” I pointed at my best friend who had an innocent smile. “She was singing and it clouded my better judgment that I had to stop and actually give my ears a break from her detestable voice.” I whined.

“Oh poor baby. You got stuck listening to her sing. Don’t worry next time no one will ride with her so we won’t have to listen to her annoying shrilly voice.” He cooed at me.

“Just for that I’m so annoying the both of you.” Becky sneered.

“I love you Becky, please spare me!” I begged.

“No! You insulted my awesome singing skills so you both suffer the consequences!” She still had her arms crossed and looked away from me.

“I’ll make your favorite cake when we get home if you be a good girl and stay silent.” Reed bargained.
