Chapter 5 - Unplan Date

Leo pov

"I'm deeply apologize sir. We search the entire apartment but got nothing."

I sigh listening to Jonathan report. "Finger print?"

"No sir.."

"Nothing?" I ask again.

"Nothing sir.."

"Search again." I command.

Jonathan stare at me and he sigh. "Its the third time we search it. Nothing."

I nod weakly and dismiss him. I take the file and flip it. I read again and observe the picture one by one carefully. It is a single bed apartment. It located in the city center so it cost very expensive. I read the apartment owner detail but I'm sure its fake.

I run my TEA and reread the old conversation. Who is this hacker..? He's been observing my system for a long time. I only realize his existent when I dig Eiji background. Since that we have this you-hack-me-I-hack-you-back game. This is driving me crazy.

I punch my desk reread the old conversation. He starts to get in my nerve. It almost a year. But I still got nothing about this hacker.

He always hacks in my system and observe my movement. But nothing more. Just what the hell he wants from me. I sit down on my seat as I keep my sight on the running TEA. Suddenly a message pop up.

I pull the keyboard closer and start typing. Why bother to ask when you can see everything.

You are right. But knowing it from yourself is even better than seeing your pathetic face.

I punch the desk again making the stuff on it drop to the floor. After few deep breath I glance at the cctv in my office to show him my face.

He got to be kidding me. No matter how many times I fix the firewall in my system he always manage to hack in.

I type again. Meet me

Like hell I am giving up. You are a coward. Too scare too show your face so you play this guessing game instead.

I wait kinda long but he is not replying. I glance at my cctv and look back at the monitor but he is not replying. What happen..? After few second a message pop up.

Fine.. lets go on a date.

My mouth wide open reading his reply. What is he playing now. He must have plan something. There is noway that's true.

Date and time? I decide to play along.

You got 30 minutes to meet me here. (Phantom attact a location)

I open the location and its a nearby place. I open it again and view using satelite map and its not far from my office. The location actually pointed at an ice cream shop.

Don't be late on our first date. I hate waiting.

I type back. Will be there

I rush out after grabing my phone and wallet. I get in the lift and run without carring anyone greeting or question. I walk on the sideway following the GPS instruction. After some walking here and there I finally reach the ice cream shop.

I study the ice cream shop before entering. After that I get in and look around. I check my app but Phantom didn't sent me any message. So I decide to sit and wait. I purposely pick the table facing the entrance and wait for him.

I take my phone and message him instead. I'm here

Wow.. you are early.

Dumbass..!! Why did this suddenly feel like a date. I fix my eyes on the entrance and everytime someone walk it I flinch. I have been waiting for a long time but he is not here.

Hiding again. I type and sent.

What do I expect from him. He is a criminal, a hacker, a wicked. There is noway he will reveal himself.

I look around imediatly. There's not many people inside. There is a couple, a mother with her 2 son, and a group of teenagers. I'm sure he is not among them.

Watching me again.

There is no reply.

Still no reply.

I'm restless. I want to punch the table but I hold it. I'm always calm and got full control of myself. But he make me crazy. He makes me insane. Before I could type another text someone tap on my shoulder.

"Your ice cream sir." The waitress give me a small bowl of ice cream.

I'm a bit shock so I didn't accept it. "I didn't oder any ice cream." I refuse.

She fluster. "Its from your friend. He ask me to give you this."

I grab her arm and ask seriously. "Describe him. How he looks like."

She shake her head.

"Please." I beg.

"He is tall with husky voice. But he wears hat and mask. I didn't get to see his face."

I sigh and she left. What is this..? I stare blankly at the ice cream. Then a massage pop up.

Thanks for the treat but I prefer to see your face. I answer sarcasticly.

I kick the chair across me lightly. You are very welcome.

I lean back and stare blankly toward the door. I know he would not reveal himself. He is just playing with me. Stupid..
