Chapter 4 - Unexpected Chat

Aries pov

I open my galery and look at our picture. He looks just the same. Maybe a little tan and muscular. I sigh and place my phone on the desk then switch on my notebook.

I run The Phantom Application (TPA) store inside my notebook. This is a very special program that can hack into any system. Its base almost the same like The eyes Application (TEA) that belong to DOF. But mine is much more better.

"What?" I answer my phone but hear Choel is chuckling over the question.

"Little gathering?"

"No thanks. I'm busy." I grab my mouse and start clicking here and there.

"Busy being a secret admire?" She chuckles again. Shit..

"Fuck off. I hang ---" I annoy.

"Jezzz.. wait." She yells before I could end the call.

I sigh. "What..!"

"You know where to find us if you change your mind. We'll ---"

I end the call with out letting her finishing her sentence. Then I smile proudly as I watch the scene from my monitor. I use the TPA to hack into TEA and monitoring their movement secretly.. silently.. freely.

Before I can change the channel my app start giving warning someone hack back in my system. I imediately sit straight placing my finger on the keyboard entering code and instruction here and there.

I secure my firewall and eliminate the bug before sigh in relief. Before I can fully rest, a message pop up on my screen.

who are you

This is strange. I secure my wall? How did they contact me. I suddenly feel uneasy and anxious with the unexpected guest.

Next message pop up. Shit.. something is wrong.

Phantom

I jump from my seat reading the third message.

Does hacking my system pleasing you? You have been hacking in my line observing me as you please. Does your parent never teach you.. hacking is a crime.

I pack my stuff quickly. I run the app and deleted every trace ignoring that unexpceted guest chat. Before I could finish everything, my smart watch vibrate. Its telling me someone is trying to excess my door passcode.

Shit.. they found me. I hang my begpack on my shoulder and exit using the secret door the same time they brag in my apartment.

I walk away calmy like nothing happen. Shit.. that was close. So his little warning is trying to distract me and catch me. Nice move.  But too bad.. I'm still ahead from you.

I exit from the emergency door and before I could get to the sidewalk, I see a familiar car waiting not far from the main entrance. I hide and open my tab to run the system again.

I type and send the text.

A moment later I get a reply.

I smirk. Try harder next time.

After a while the CPO from DOF get out from the building and drive away. I smile. Seem like he's trying to catch me.

I continue my path and go joining the little gathering.

"What's up?" I greet the girls as I pull the chair and sit on it.

"You said you're not coming."

"I change my mind." I speak casually.

"What with the bagpack?" Deemia point at the beg behind me.

"Stuff."

Their eyes widen. "What for?"

"To live."

They look at me curiously but Choel can't hide her worry and concern face. I just smile toward her and she lower her head sipping her tea calmly.
After a while the others go home leaving me and Choel alone.

"What happen?" Her voice is damn serious.

"Nothing." I shrug.

"For real?"

"Yeah."

She lean toward me looking straight in my eyes. "Aries Phantom."

Damn.. for her to call my full name signaling her serious side. I sigh and push her back to her seat.

"He almost caught me. That's all."

She sigh a big one. "Stop it."

"I can't." I yell a little.

"I don't want to lost you." Shit.. her voice full of pain and suffering.

"Its nothing. I got this. I can handle it."

"Ed got her happy ending. Why can't you be? Please Ari.. just stop what ever you're doing and let it go."

"I can't." That's the only answer I could give her.

"Just let it ---"

"Its hurt..!!" I shout as I grasp on the chair handle controling my angger.

"Everytime I see his face.. Its hurt. Its still hurting me.. haunting me in my sleep.. torturing me in my mind.. sending chill all over my body.." I can cry any second.

"Its not Leo fault." She speak calmly.

"It was his fault completely. I'll kill him." I'm not lying.. I'll kill that man soon. I'll avenge for my brother.

"Aries.." Choel is damn shock. "Stop ---"

"FUCK OFF CHO..!" My volume raise to its max making her flinch in daze.

I raise from my seat and leave her alone after grabing my begpack. I ignore her call and exit the cafe. I walk without destination as my chest fill with anger and despair.

Is it..?? They said its an excident. He die during his mission. I wish its was. He promise to come back after the mission. He did.. but he back with a cold body cover in white fabric inside the coffin.

My brother..
my one and only brother..
He left me..
He left me all alone..

I hate him.. I hate that Leo D'oniel. He kill my brother.
