Chapter 26 - She Broke You Badly

Leo pov

"I like you.. a lot." She was trying to hide her red face with the beg on her hand.

"I like you too. You a very good CPO."

"No. I mean I like you.. that I like you." She stuttering awhile as I raised a brow.

My head try to process her words then the hidden meaning hit on my mind. I'm shocked but didn't flinched. For the past two months, she was under my new debut The eyes team. Our relationship is getting closer because I was personally trained her.

"Rowen.. I'm.."

She shook her head imediately and gave me a weak smiled. "I know the answer. I'm an eyes too. I just don't want to deal with regret later. I'm sorry."

"I'm sor---"

"Its ok. Don't mention it." She waved her hands on me as she took her step back.

I felt sorry for her but feeling its not something I can plan. She ran toward the exit and disappear from my sight. We were suppose to have dinner together but considering what just happen, I guess the plan cancel. I sighed heavily. After hopped in my car, I pocket my phone and dial Riono number.

"What's up?" He picked up the called.

"Mind to join me for some drinks?"

"You sound heart broken buddy." He let out a mocking chuckled.

"Come joined me. I'm lonely."

I switched on the engine but didn't drive yet. My finger was playing on the steering wheel. This huge empty lonely feeling was piercing freely in my chest.

"I promise my princess ---"

"Save me Riono. I feel like dying." My head fall to the steering wheel. I cuddle my own self trying to ease my pain. Damn..!!

"Where're you?"

"Parking loot of my company."

After the first cried, I never bother to count how many times I had shedding tears because of her. My penthouse doesn't felt like home anymore. My heart miss her badly and my body need her desperately. I'm also not strong enough to went through this again.

"Its fine Riono. Sorry." I end the called before my sobbed become unstoppable.

I wiped the tears ligering around my eyes then drove away aimlessly. After some times driving around the city, I decided to went home. Our moment reapper in my head one by one after I step in my the room. This longingness is killing me again. I was pining away from love.

I remember everything its slowly killing me inside. I remember each of our bitter sweet moment. Her hated toward me and her loves for me. I miss her so much its killing me.

"Leo.." Riono voice reached my eardrum.

I was laying on the couch in my living room the time Riono brag in my penthouse. My arm was on my face, covering my eyes.

"Are you al---"

"Don't ask." I cut his obvious question.

He let out a grunted before plopped beside me. The sound of him opening a can was heard then he bump the cold alluminium in my other arm.

"I bought your beer."

"Don't need it anymore."

"Shit.. after begging on my princess to let me drink with you, you reject me."

"Go home." I twisted my body, letting my back facing him coldly.

"Leo.."

"Go.." I demanded again.

Riono sighed a big one. I remember the time he was broken because Eiji ran away from him. I pour my entire intelligent to search for his lover but fail. In the end, it was Aries who told him where she was. But who'll tell me where is Aries now?

"Want to talk about it?" Like always, Riono is a friend I can depend on.

"I miss her its killing me." I mumbled out my pain.

"I know."

"I feel like dying." My chest was aching very much.

"I know."

"Help me." I never pleaded. I am the most secure man among my circle. As the heir of DOF, I'm always calm and in control. But Aries took away my calmness.

"I'm sorry." He apologize.

Aries disappear after Ryan case settle. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't find her. I wish she'll let me know where is she, how is she or what is she up to. But no.. she left me completely with nothing except pain and grief.

"Maybe you should move on." Riono sudden suggest in his small voice.

I flinched when I heard it. "I can't."

"Meet new people, go to blind date, interact more." He spoked firmly beside me.

"I couldn't do that. You know how dangerous my work is. I can't casually join other and bring harm to them."

"Then date someone in The eyes." He hissed on me.

"I don't want that." I mumbled back slowly and hide my face more.

My tears start gathering around my eyes again. This slow sobbed slowly leak from my mouth. I covered my face imediately but Riono poke on my back.

"Stop crying." He roared on me.

"I'm not. Its flu." I hissed but he laughed at me.

"You can't even lie now. Gosh.. she broke you badly."

Riono chuckled out loud over my failing attempt to lie. Aries really broke me. She planed her virus in my body turning me weak and defendless.
