Chapter 24 - Last Fight

Leo pov

I can't believe it at all. I saw everything, I heard everything, but I still refuse to believe it. How can Hector betray me? He worked for me since I'm in The eyes team. We all are friend.

"What is my purpose as your hostage." I end the silence between us.

He was not making conversation to me. "Hector.. " I called him gently.

He looked unsure of what he was doing. He was shuddering in horror. Since the pass two days, he was rushing, trembling, shaking in fear like someone trying to kill him.

I was in my company working for days, trying to match the clues I got. I'm still far from the conclution but Hector own action gave me the answer.

He kidnaped me then locked me up. There was no one looking for me, maybe he lied to them about my absent.

"I just need the disc." He mumbled in his small voice as he inject something in me.

I can't fight him because he tied both of my arm. I did made the effort to struggled but end up hurting myself.

"I just need the disc. Then I'll let you free." His voice trembling a lot.

"You're not willingly to do this right? Let me go Hector. I can help you." I offer him. If he accept it, I'll really will help him.

"No.. Its too late. I already kill someone." He was shaking from head to toes. My eyes widen. Don't tell me.. He was the one who kill Ryan.

"Hector.. We can---" My head was spining made me pause my sentence. Did the drug start giving effect??

I was fighting hard for the drug effect  the time the door of the room opened up.

"Stay away from what mine before I kill you."

My eyes trailed to the voice owner and saw Aries. What is she doing here? This was what I'm afraid of. She is the leader of their little gathering. She always incharge behind the scene. That's why I added more men to guard her.. to prevent this from happening.

"I bought your disces." She showed him the pile of disces.

Hector didn't moved from his spot. He was happy to see Aries."I thought you're not coming."

What?? So he was waiting for Aries. Aries own the remind disces. But how??

Aries didn't flinched. She walked confidently with the pistol pointing at her. What is she thinking..!!! He will shoot her. Gosh...!!!

"I should have know its you who betray the team. How can you do that when Ryan also your friend."

Hector chuckled in disbelief over Aries words. His chuckled provoke the anger in me. Why did he dragged her in this fight?

"So I assume you do that because of money." Aries added confidently.

"Shut up or I'll shoot you. Now leave the disces there and hands up."

Aries smirked just send thousand of wild imagination in my head. "You can try, but never mess with what mine."

Hector pulled the trigger without second thought. I fell with the chair I sat on watching the nerve racking moment. My sight was blur for a second because of the drug. The only thing I know was, I heard many footstep rushed in. The room fill with noise I don't recognise. Then the scent of smoke bomb hit my nose.

The time I regain my vision, Aries was standing strong infront of Hector  while looked at him fiercely. There was a women dress in bulletproof vest pinning Hector down. The room was surrounded by police officer. What is happening??

"I didn't know they will kill him..!" Hector cried on the floor. "I only reveal the location for them. I didn't know they will attack to steal the disc. I'm sorry."

Aries eyes shifted from madness to suffering. Her gripped on the pistol slowly lossen. She was trying hard not to cried.

"If you are sorry, then why you do it again..!! Doesn't it enough you took Ryan away from me, now you're taking Leo..!!" Slight of tears visible from her eyes.

Hector kneel down the floor weakly toward Aries raging. He must be in great stress because of the guilt. Maybe he reached his limit. He wanted to be free.

"I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.. I'm sorry.." Hector apologize non stop with Aries. pistol pointed on his head.

"Don't do it Aries. Don't kill him..!" Using my remining energy, I shout out loud.

Aries eyes shifted again. Its turning dark and dangerous. She'll kill him. She played with the trigger before pulling it for real, ready to shoot Hector down.

"You should just die." She was ready to fire.

"Aries.. don't...!!" I screamed out loud in her direction. Why they didn't stop her? Why they just watch her? Stupid policemen..!!

I'm stunned after the loud bang. She pulled the trigger. She fired at him. My entire body can't moved an inch watching Hector lay down the floor motionlessly. Red blood slowly filling the floor. No..!! She kill him for real.

After a moment, she turned to me slolwy and marched toward me. She untie me and help me to stand.

"Its ok.. Its all right." I hugged her tightly after meeting her dark and painful eyes. She was crying in silent. Her tears rolled down heavily drenching her cheek.

"Why you didn't come back sooner? Why your let me wait? Why Leo..? Why you made me go through it again?" She spoke in her painful sobbed.

I know I hurt her badly. I made her remember the pain of losing Ryan. I'm sorry Aries. I always hurt you. As much as I want to secure your safety, I end up hurting you.

"I'm sorry.. I'm really sorry." I found myself crying along with her.

"Why??" I heard her clearly as she complained again.

"I'm sorry."

"Why Leo?" I got not answer to her pleading.

"I'll make it better. I'll fix this. I'm sorry." I vowed to her. I'll never hurt her again.

I pulled away from her embrace after I heard the light groaned from Hector. I looked back to the scene and saw the policewomen was helping Hector. Aries didn't kill him. He's still alive.

"I didn't kill him. You stop me." She spoke in her small voice.

I don't care anymore. I don't care the fact she is Ryan sister. I'm making her mine.
