Chapter 25 - Question And Answer

Aries pov

"Case solve." Luna gave me the last report of Ryan case.

I took the black file but didn't bother to read it. After 5 years, finally I made it. No more question mark on Ryan death, no more blaming, no more you hacked me I hacked you back games and definitely no more Leo. I'm done with him.

"Thank Luna. You have work hard."

"No.. I'm just doing my job. But I still can't believe of your stupidity."

"Well you know me."

"You're lucky he didn't die. Or else you are in jail right now."

I let out a playful chuckled. "You would not let me stay there."

"You wish." She scoffed.

Luna is a detective. She worked at the Miami branch but because of me, she got no choice but to come. She helped Deemia before and now she helped me. I have lot to thank her.

"Don't call me unless its death and life issue. You're not the only one who busy here."

"Yes mam." I scoffed back and she rolled her eyes on me. "I own you this one. Call me when you need another behind the scene cover."

"Stupid." She threw a pistol in my direction forcing me to catch it. "I'm leaving."

"Thanks Luna." I shouted before she crossed the door.

She waved indifferent and I sighed a big one. I grabbed the can of drink then gulped down the liquid. Case solved, there was no more reason to observe Leo. I'm done with him for real now.

My attention drifted to my phone when its vibrate for the thousand time. I only stared blankly at the caller ID as this loneliness slowly crawled in my chest. Leo was calling me again.

I tossed the phone frustratedly and leaned back to my seat thinking hard. The only question mark now was I still don't remember the things Leo asked me to remember. Damn..!! I hate my own feeling.

I'm crazy. I'm insane. I'm screw..!! My phone vibrate again and this time Choel name plaster on the screen. I slided to answer it lazily.

"Aries.."

I just strike by lightening listen to the voice. I instantly looked back to the caller ID. This is absolutly Choel number, but the voice belong to Leo.

"Cho.. Is that you?" I asked for conformation.

"Aries please don't hang up. Please talk to me."

It Leo..!! Hearing his voice only made me weak and being weak ruined me.

"Please Aries.. talk to me. If you want to argue then argue. If you want to beat me then beat me. But don't shut me away." His tone full of suffering and dissatisfied.

Damn..!! Why he remind me of our moment. I always acted how I wanted in front of him. I always in my untamed mood. But now I can't even face him. I don't like being weak.

"Why are you shutting me away? You said you wanted me to realize your presence, now that you got my attention, why you leave me?"

I can only stay silence toward his question.

"Aries.. please.. talk to me?" He pleaded desperately its breaking my defend.

I could heard his sobbed over the phone and I cried along with him. My free hand was covering my mouth as the tears stream down heavily. This fear sucffocating me in and out.

"Come back Aries.. please.."

Damn..!! He broke my thick wall. I end the called then smashed my phone to the floor. Its broke in one tried. My head dropped on the desk as I cried out my pain. I'm not strong enough to go through it again.

"Aries..!!!"

I jumped from my seat after Choel brag in my room. She was furrious with me. Before I could asked her anything, Deemia join in the room along with Eiji. My eyes contract imediately. Then Silis came in with Tarnisha, I slided my palm down my face sighing a big one.

"This is not some cafe for your little gathering." I roared imediately.

"You trouble maker..!" Choel just an inch from smacking me but she stop and slapped my arm instead.

"What..!!" My eyes widen.

"How could you do that to Leo?" Choel  start the interrogation made me sighed hard.

"Do what?" I clueless although I have the hunch what Choel was angry about.

"Leaving him." Silis added.

"So what?"

"He cares for you so much but you take it for granted." Tarnisha join in the lecture.

"Correction..!! I never take any of his kindness ok. He acted without me agreeing."

"So you just took his heart and left instead." Now its Eiji turned to counter attacked.

I rolled my eyes on them. Lucky they didn't see me crying or else they will force me to admit my hidden feeling. I can win against the 4 of them but Choel, I can't deal with her. She'll pushed me to my limit. That's her nature.

"He was crying because of you. I can't believe you are this heartless breaking a nice man heart." Sillis spoke in her small voice.

Leo cry..?

"You save him from his enemy but you kill him with your own action."

"Why you hurt him when you obviously like him." Deemia groaned frustratedly.

I just sighed toward the never ending question. Its amazing how my little gathering tried to went against me.

"Why Ari.." Choel asked again.

"Why you run away?" Eiji added.

"Are you afraid?" Silis joined in.

"Or you have give up?" Tarnisha scoffed.

"She just chicken out." Deemia mocked.

I smacked my desk with my palm. They shutted their mouth for a moment as their eyes focus on me. But then they shouted at me again.

"WHY..?" They asked in union.

"I'm not strong enough to face it. I don't want to went through it again. Lossing Ryan was enough. If I lost Leo too, I'll die. I'm just protecting my heart before I get hurt. So what..!!"

Fuck..!! They actually made me admit it. Tears slowly lingered around my eyes as the pain fill in my chest. I turned my back on them and wiped my tears before its fall down my cheek. I don't want to be weak.

"You're in love with him." Damn..!! Choel stated what I'm trying hard to denied.

"I don't..!!" Who am I trying to fool. They saw it clearly.

"Don't lie about your feeling because Leo don't."

"I don't love him.." My statement was too weak to convince them.

"I can't wait to see your face when he be with someone else. Seeing him in someone else arm are totally different seeing him in the coffin Aries."

I turned facing them imediately and meet Choel mischievous smirked.

"Come guys. Leo better be with someone who fight for him." Choel lead the leave.

"Yeah. Someone like.. Rowen." Tarnisha smirked.

"Oh.. Rowen like Leo too. They'll make the great pair." Silis added.

"He'll move on in no time. After all Ari hurt him badly. He'll hate you soon." Deemia glared at me before crossing the door.

"Don't regret when that happen Ari." Eiji closed my door.

I'm completely speechless. I pulled the keyboard closer and hacked in Leo system searching for Rowen detail. I link to the CCTV and saw Leo was with Romen.

Its felt totally different. And this different feeling called jelousy.
