Triggers: Swearing
I hate school. Everyone knows it. But it's hard to drop out when one of your dads is a fucking genius. The worst class of the day by far though is 7th period math.
At the front of the class stands a crow, with her wispy short black hair and high-pitched rusty voice. She has it out to get me, I swear to God. The worst part is Princey is across the hall with Mr. Davis.
I slowly bend down to my backpack and grab my earbuds, praying she won't notice. But with obviously sharp eyes (I might mention she'd forced to wear these horrid black glasses, of which i prefer contacts) Ms. McFriggin Crow spots me across the room.
She stomps over so hard I'm believe the school is fucking shaking. Or it might be me with a mixture of anger and anxiety. She whips her ruler at me so hard it hits me in the cheek and burns. Most likely it's turning red by now. I lift my hand to cover it and scowl at her.
"At the other end of this ruler," she started loudly, dragging the entire class to attention. "Is an idiot."
I smirk, knowing this is going to go so wrong but she already hates me. "Which end?"
I watched her face drain of color before screaming. "Detention young monster! And be sent home early!"
She slams the slip on my desk and ushers me to leave class. I see Roman walking the halls.
What's wrong?" He asks.
I hold up the slip and walk away. I stalk down the halls and into the front office. Mrs. Zinger glared at me. She must have already notified my parental units. Pops must be starting to rub of on me.
Soon I spot the familiar pairing of light blue and black. Glasses and glasses. Cardigan and tie. You get it. They enter the office, sign out, then lead me to the parking lot.
"What did you do this time?" Logan asks.
I explain what happened.
Patton fist pumps the air. "Bippity-boppity boo-yah."
Logan sent Dad a Don't-Encourage-Him look.
I smile and continue walking. My life's a mess, but moments like these make me appreciate it.
