I huff as I walk into the elevator. The glint of red on white hurting my eyes. Nope, nope, nopeitty, nope, mcnope. I go to walk out the doors, but they have already shut.

"Fuuuuuuuuuuuck." I groan.

"Me too." Roman says.

"Nobody asked you to speak." I snap.

I look at the floors to see we're at the 15th floor. We should be fully to the 10th at least by now. A wave of realization hits. We're stuck. Me and Roman. Of all the people it could have been. He's going to try to play hero and wind up dying. We could run out of oxygen.

Oh my God. Of course I can't call or text anyone because I left my phone at work. No one will realized what happened.

I can't hear Roman over the pounding in my head. His face seems panicked as he racked his brain for solutions. Finally he begins counting with his fingers. Breath, I realize.

When I'm calm enough, Roman stands up, and I realized I'd slid down to the ground. Embarrassed, I push myself up.

"So what now?" I ask.

Roman shrugs. "We could climb through the elevator shaft."

I roll my eyes. "That's a horrible idea."

"No shit Sherlock. It was just a suggestion." He glares.

"Fuck you, Watson." I respond.

"Do you have a better idea?" He asks.

I stay quite.

"That's what I thought."

And with that he forced the door open and climbed out so I followed.

"Why are we doing this? We're going to die." I mutter under my breath.

He points upward. "We could push our backs against each other, link arms, and push our way up." He suggests.

"Everything about that screams no. Besides, I'm not putting my life in your hands." I sass.

With that I climb back into the elevator box and listen to Roman stomping about mumbling to himself. Something inside me says he should come back.

"Roman get your lazy ass in here now!" I yell. He climbs back in and looks at me.

"Love ya too, asshole." He says and turns around.

And with that I watch as listen as the elevator comes back on and we continue our journey to the 1st floor.

When we reach it, we step out and let out I breath I didn't realize I was holding. A crowd of people had gathered, and I scan it for Logan. I see him and slightly smile.

Right before me and Roman go our separate ways, I look at him.

"Maybe you're not so bad." I say before disappearing and appearing next to Logan.

"So what happened?" He asks.

"Nothing, except getting stuck." I answer.

And with that we exit the apartment complex and make our way to the mall.
