17- Burnt, crispy pancakes

After Flippy finally got Flipqy calmed down, he decided to have a little talk with him.
"Hey Flipqy?"
"I know, I know, rape is bad."
"... we are done with that conversation ok. What I wanted to say was, well.. about last night..-" Flippy started.
"Yeah?"
"You.. you remember what I said?.."
"Which part?"
"Uhh.. well.." Flippy blushed. "About the 'L' word?.."
"Ahh. You mean when you said you loved me?"
Flippy blushed harder.
"Yeah I remember. What about it?"
"U-uhh.. I just.. I wanted to see if you remembered.."
Flipqy chuckled. His crooked smile made flippy blush even harder.
"You're so cute. So, you want some breakfast?"
Flippy smiled."Yeah, sure."

Flipqy marched into the kitchen and got to work. He made pancakes.. burnt, crispy, pancakes. But Flippy ate them, not wanting to be rude. Until he noticed Flipqy himself refused to eat them, then he stopped forcing them down.

"Eww.. sorry about that Flippy. Surely there is something else we can eat?.."
"Yeah, no. We haven't been shopping at all sense we where separated. I'm surprised the groceries we had even lasted us this long. Anyway, the town just isn't ready for us." Flippy said, laughing nervously.

"I don't care if their ready. Maybe we should go out to eat?"
"This early??"
"What is it with you and the time!"
"Flipqy, I am not in the mood!"
"Alright, alright. You wanna go out or not?"
"Like... like a date?" Flippy asked.
Flipqy smirked. "Sure. Like a date."
