She was the kind of girl
Who you told your darkest secrets to
Not begging for hers
To slip from her cursed lips
Her understanding came
From the seas she had traveled
Making her the skilled sailor

And know their souls
Her heart thumped
A rhythm of love and
Quiet understanding bloomed
Yet still she would
Scream to the wind
Begging it to calm it's ridged seas
She always walked
With love even when the
Love wasn't for herself
But that's what sailors
Do...they crack the whip
And love the wind
Which told her to
Love the misunderstood
And secrets kept
