She is waiting patiently for the person
But S I T T I N G in silence was never a joy of hers
L A Y I N G under the willow trees
She wonders about the things
Some never even glance at
Is anyone beautiful enough?
Can they see?
Watching all the simple things
She knew could make the hardiness of them

to their knees at one glimpse of her hair
A perfect place for their hands
She blurted out the randomness
That hid in the crannies of her soul
Puzzle pieces she gave up trying to fit
Letting her heart sing
Not of allegiance and Strength
Love songs to the life she had with herself
Lyrics too LOUD but needed to be sung
Laughing even when no one else
Saw the beauty in the things
She found hilarious
The Simplicity of life's beauty
Dancing with her eyes o p e n
To the heartbeat only she could hear
P O U N D I N G to let her know she was alive
A beat to S T O M P her feet to
Spinning with that
Look of otherness
That only certain souls have
A beauty you just can't stop staring at
Like when a star winks at you
Winking back is a must
She would smile
A grin that planted a seed of beauty
Into the strangest of people
Meeting her gaze watered
The puniest of flowers
Making it bloom
Showing the beauty of its flower
Perfection pressed in its petals
Meeting no strangers
She watered everyone's garden
Not caring to give all of herself
Just to see others strive
Leaking light onto their cobblestone paths
Her emotions sank

Weaving through the rocks
That threatened to stop her grace
Refusing to take her eyes off
The glory she had revived
But when she saw the ocean in his eyes
She forgot the decay that was her own
Walking to see the waves
Feeling a thirst that made her forget
The desert heated her tongue
And she simply let herself

Beneath her toes
And loving the motion of his tides
