She cried tears that left puddles

The dust off of passing days
Cleaning the pain that was
So vividly blotched on her shirt
Finally she hoped she
could truly be pure
So she continued to

sky as it cleansed her life
Mourning all the
Wretched days that
She had seen pass
Day by day walked on
Like the faint march of soldier
But the battle was for her soul
And as the wind fought amongst her
She continued to put herself first
And trust the wicked waters
She had been through
For life was made for those like her
