Ch.3 A Hero's awakening

Max's pov

I wake up, abruptly, in a hospital bed. I exhale heavily as I realize that I just some rest in a long time. Which feels great, I have not felt so rested in the past two months. That last stand, oh yea, earth is... Gone. A silent tear goes down my face. I curse my lack of strength, I was once the best of the bound warriors but now I am the last and weakest. I sigh, I'll improve, I swear I will. Bound Warriors are basically immortal, due to the dimensions timelines. Dimensions arent all aligned/ in sync so time works oddly, In short the first time you enter a dimension other than yours, its an anchor age, meaning, every time i travel through a dimension, I turn 17. Again. For what is now might be the 100th time.

I get out of the bed i'm in and look around. I'm in a hospital room of some kind, So I approach a window to see where im at. Not a hospital. Some sort of mansion overlooking a city. Why does this feel. . .  Familiar?

I walk to the only door that leads out or in, and hear around 6 voices behind it. My only guess is its the females that I have seen yesterday before that fight. Well, I guess I should prepare to answer some questions. I open the door and see six females on a few couches look at me shocked. Im guessing they are surprised to see me up.

"Well, I didn't expect you to recovery so fast, who ever you are." One says, she has black hair that goes into a pigtail hairstyle, she also has ruby red eyes. Didn't she shout out that I was a male when we met? I should have said 'A Female!' back but it wasn't the best timing to do so.

"I get that more than you expect." I say in response, limping my way to the center of the room.

"Well come over here, we have some questions for you." the same girl says.

As I walk to the couches I take note that two of the females look quite unique. Two have black hair, one with that yellow/blonde hair, one with regular brown like mine, but two of them have pink hair. Well I guess that isnt completely new. I traveled to quite a few dimensions before, all unique in their own way.

I take a seat and prepare  for the questions. "So, lets get started."

"Alright, before anything else, introductions are in order." The girl with black hair in two pigtails says, standing up."Im noire, goddess of lastation." She introduces herself.

Goddess!? well, I landed myself in a unique dimension alright. And again, that has a tone that I recognize. Anyways, this aint the first time I meet someone like this. Suddenly the other, younger girl with black hair stands up.

"Im uni, goddess candidate of lastation." She says. Doesn't ring a bell. For a second, I thought that this was the dimension where I fought a void lord named tari but I can't confirm anything yet.

Then that one girl who tried to help me stands up. "Im compa, you saved me from that big thing yesterday." She reminds me. Then the brown haired girl stands.

"Im IF, an agent, and friend of compa, by the way thanks for saving her." She says, I nod.

Then one of the pink haired girls stands up. "Im neptune! goddess of planeptune and main protagonist." She announces.

I give more then a confused look as noire sighs and IF facepalms.

"Ignore her, its just what she does." Noire Clarifies it. I give a bit of a reluctant nod of understanding.

Than the taller pink haired girl stands up. "Im nepgear, candidate for planeptune." She says.

I guess its time for me to introduce myself. I stand up and give a light bow. "Im max, max Hyakushō. And I am known as a bound warrior."
