There was no warning. The Void, with the King extra cautious, deployed themselves into gamindustri's mountainous region during the night. They took a few casualties from this action, but it more than payed off. They got their full army into Gamindustri without much of a fight.

By the time that the scouts placed about were able to warn the capitals about the situation, Luthur already figured that it was too late. He read the report, and how there are generals leading three fifths of the army.

They are far too organized. This is completely unlike their usual plan of action of just endless hordes. Luthur grits his teeth, and glares over to the two amulets that he made himself. They sit on a dresser, one on top of the other. The blue and red stones glow lowly in their place, almost as if taunting him. He meant for them to be of last resort, yet it seems that he and Max will have to use them instantly to fight back the overwhelming start the void got on them.

He sighs, and grabbed them. Then a knock at the door made him turn to it. His heart stopped for a moment, knowing that it was most likely Vert but a small pang of fear makes him wonder if it was perhaps someone like the King or Matt.

Although, as the door opened, it was Vert. Luthur calmed down instantly, but notes he is getting paranoid. He shakes it off and finishes shoving the amulets down his shirt.

"Yeah, what is it?" Luthur asks as he moves to the dresser where he stores his armor then starts to put it on.

"Are you ready?" Vert asks, looking like she was withholding something from him.

Luthur looks over to her, and sees that something is wrong. He puts his armor on, strapping it down and making sure the armor was tight enough to not move loosely.

"Something on your mind?" Luthur asks, putting Redemption in its scabbard and on his back.

"There are reports of the Void already at the border. Its estimated that they will be on the edge of the capital within a half hour." Vert tells him.

"What!?" Luthur shouts, almost dropping Redemption. "They made it that far already?!"

"Yes, but its worse in the sense that Max has gone missing. Noire thinks that he has already went out to fight the army led by the King in an attempt to slow them down." Vert continues, making Luthur shake his head.

"That idiot! Even he should know that something isnt right." Luthur shakes his head in frustration. Then he realizes what Max might be doing. "Unless. . ."

"What?" Vert asks, concerned at the horrible conditions presenting them.

There was a moment of silence, as Luthur tried to piece together what Max would be thinking in this moment. If the king seemed to be in a serious threat of being killed, then the other armies might pull back to help him.

The moment of silence carried on, as Luthur continued to think on the plan, trying to think if that would seriously work. Then the sound of glass shattering filled the room.

Luthur shot his eyes open, looking for any threat and activating his bound form. Then, his eyes lay on Vert, who had an dark twisted arrow lodged in her abdomen...

Noire stood on a hill, the standing army of Lastation below her. She was in her HDD form, seeing the enemy army of the Void just over three hundred meters away from the city. Uni was also next to her, her weapon held at the ready.

There was a small tinge of fear through the troops, seeing the enemy army so close to their homes. Every soldier held a rifle in hand, at the ready to fight. The heavy artillery cannons that Lastation used were positioned on top of buildings that were abandoned or unnecessary to survive instantly.
