The King of the Void stands outside, on a balcony. He gives a heavy exhale of air, as he looks to his children. He watches as they continue to spar with each other, testing their powers and improving on each other.

However, that isnt the reason why he sighed. The king of the void is going to be doing something he hasn't done since he created his first legions of Void soldiers. He was going onto the front lines along with everyone.

The skirmish during the tournament was a simple test of the waters, to see if he could at least stand outside of the void without all of reality calling to arms against him. . . maybe not ALL of reality. The king thinks, as he holds a small letter in his hands. It was a message from another king. Not the same of as the king of the Void, who is the most aggressive of his little circle, not to mention the least involved with them, but a old ally.

The king of the void sets the letter on the railing, and turns away from it. He walks his way back to his throne room. He planned out who was fighting whom, including himself, and was ready. With his left hand, he signals for one of his lesser guards over to him; while resting his head on his right hand, which was gloved.

"Y-yes my lord?" The guard asks, stuttering at being summoned before his king.

"Tell my childr--The my generals--" The king corrects himself. "To assemble the men, we are invading tomorrow." The king states, knowing that it will take a while before everyone was assembled

The guard nods, and runs off, to inform the others that everything was set into motion. This is it, there is no going back after those words, and he knows it. He watches as the foot soldier hurries off; when he opens the door, Matt and Nepgear are on the other side.

The king noted that the broken girl, Nepgear, tended to stick around Matt, even if Matt seemed occupied; however Matt didn't mind the company. The king, despite his more hostile nature, silently hoped that things ended out fine for them. Matt has been more than loyal to the king and Nepgear was compliant to their cause, so they deserved some time to be free.

"Matt, why have you decided to come here?" The king asks, his eyes meeting Matt's.

"I wanted to request something." Matt bluntly states, making the king smile.

Whenever Matt wanted something, or had something to say, he never sugarcoated it. Matt simply stated what he wants and the king chooses to either except or decline. This has always been their dynamic for a very long time.

"What is it?" The King asks, intrigued at what he has to say. The king silently wondered if Matt was perhaps about to try to challenge him, or demand freedom, giving the timing of his request.

"I want to be on the second wave instead of the first." Matt states, crossing his arms in indifference.

The King has put Matt on the first wave to invade the dimension, wanting to strike hard rather than with numbers and the constant war of attrition after the initial strike. The king could only raise an eyebrow at this kind of request. After all, Matt tends to get what he needs done as quick as possible and leave it at that, but he wants to suddenly prolong his time before the fight.

Well, it is going to be a conflict against his brother. The king thinks, giving Matt the benefit of doubt. Max won't stand idly by while Matt tries to kill the two leaders of Lastation, so a fight between the two will surely break out; that is unless Max is distracted.

"Fine, I couldn't exactly care when you decide to join the invasion, just get what you need to get done." The King concedes, rubbing his eyes tiredly as he looks on to the pair in front of him.

Matt is wearing his usual battle armor, which consisted of a heavy breastplate and protective iron leggings. His hair was ruffled up from his evening training session; which consisted of a multiple of stressful situations and extensive exercises. When looking closely, Matt was breathing a little heavy, his shoulders slightly bumping up and down ever so slightly.
