Max's Pov
After I have quickly made my way into Lastation's basilicom, up to the CPU's level and told Noire what had happened, she was at the least to say astonished at what she missed during the night; though she recovered and told me that it is important to tell everyone else as well, after all, this is most likely going to affect all of us.
It didn't take too long for us to get into a four way call with all the CPU's, all except for Neptune, who was replaced with Histoire. I decided that it was for the best, Histoire could pass it to Neptune quick enough anyways. When everyone was finally gathered, they were all at the least intrigued by why they all were gathered. The Uni and Nepgear are with me and Noire and Rom and Ram appear on Blanc's screen.
For a moment, I took a deep breath, recollecting my thoughts and thinking on how to word it, but then decided that it was best just to retell it like I did for Noire; so thats what I did, tell all of them what had happened: how I couldn't sleep at night, when an image popped into my head, heading out to figure it out on my own, bumping into Nepgear, her joining me, our walk to the woods; I left out what I heard while remaining in that area for a few easy reasons; Me jumping dimensions; my intervention with Matt, my exploration of the destroyed Gamindustri; finding the other version of Nepgear; Matt recruiting her to the side of the Void; and my hasty exit.
I left out the part of running into Rei since she seems sincere in changing for the better, so I won't reveal unnecessary info that holds little relevance. When I finished telling everyone what happened, I find myself irritated that Neptune is still not here for the important information that I had to tell.
"Where's Neptune?" I ask, seeing that instead of Neptune being on a call, it is Histoire. I can see a vein in Histoire's head pop out as she closes her eyes in stress. She seems to be as stressed as I am at Neptune's lack of appearance.
"Currently, Lady Neptune has dragged the Writer out onto an adventure." Histoire tells us, before scoffing. "I would have stopped them, if I knew that you had an important announcement to make. Especially if its about the Void."
"So Neptune is out with the Author? Hmm, let's hope nothing bad happens. After all, the author is pretty vital to all of this." Luthur pessimistically says. He sighs, as he slouches next to vert, shaking his head.
"Don't worry, Neptune can keep him alive and well; she may be lazy, but she is reliable." Noire reassures everyone, shifting around to lean onto my shoulder slightly.
I nod to her, trusting her experience with Neptune; before I turn back to the monitor, and in the corner that shows our camera, our faces, I see mine. What I see on my face is exactly what I thought, a confused, lost expression holds onto my face, as I stare at the other goddesses.
No more playing around, its time to start preparing for an attack. I think, growing into a more determined look, as my mind starts brewing a plan. Me and Luthur have the most knowledge of the Void Lords out of all of us, so we will need to be coordinating a defense for when the Void Lords decide to attack.
"Alright, with what I found out, I believe they are preparing an attack, we shouldn't be sitting around while they gather their forces." I state, getting determined looks from everyone else in return for my words. "Not to be biased, but the biggest points we need to defend are Leanbox and Lastation." I add.
"Why those two and not all of our cities? Surely you are able to pull of a defense against them, before they can get a stand on Gamindustri, right?" Histoire asks, looking a bit confused by my words. A slight fear hits within me as my mind runs back to my time through Gamindustri and my adventures with everyone.
Me, defending Compa against the Yeager; me, locating Rom and Ram from Linda and the dragon like lizard that I later learned was named Trick; me, assisting the Candidates in defeating Arfoire; me, taking over the situation with Annie out of rage and fear of his contract with the Void; me, deciding to fight Luthur alone, despite it being their issue as well; me, handling Tari and taking her down multiple times, and hardly accepting help form Noire during the endeavor that should have encompassed everyone, and finally; me, fighting in a tournament to prove who had the strongest champion of the four CPUs.
