Max's Pov
The two days of waiting for the updates to finish have passed. There have luckily been no signs of Void activity as well; although me and Luthur have been taking patrols within the two days to keep an eye on everything. That boy who I mysteriously saw as well seemed to fully vanish, and I haven't seen him since he was at Planeptune.
The updates seemed to also enhance the candidates, but not to the same degree as the other CPUs. Everyone has gotten stronger, possibly even stronger than me, because of my stand still.
I give a stressful sigh as I turn on the grassy hill I stand on. The CPUs and Candidates all stand huddled together, talking amongst themselves. Luthur is on patrol right now, going through the methodical system we established each day. I'm here to help the others test out the new upgrades.
Plutia unfortunately had to leave to check how her dimension is holding up, deciding that it would be unwise to leave there undefended if the Void Lords were up to something cheeky.
Something is off, though, I can feel it. Someone of power is within the dimension, but it isn't of void origin. I find myself weary, feeling the familiar presence. I scoff silently to myself, finally placing the presence; better to test out their power now before he arrives.
I walk over to them, a solemn breeze goes through the air. I make my way to them, stopping right outside the circle they formed. They turn to me, all smiling to themselves in their own content or glee.
"Alright, so, who's first?" I ask, summoning blazefury, and getting into my normal stance.
"We agreed i'll go first." Noire states, nodding to me before she starts to transform.
I give a nod back quickly, and am forced to take a step back. The second she transformed, a shockwave of pure power emanated from her. When her transformation was finished, her look was quite different from the usual HDD form. All around her was a thick, yet flexible looking armor that enveloped her from foot to collarbone; her blade was curved, and was as long as her arm; on her head was a headpiece that holds the Lastation logo.
The others also start to transform, changing into other forms that were drastically different from their original HDD forms; although they all had their nation's logo either on a headpiece or somewhere else on their new outfits.
Neptune's form looked stronger, shinier, and more angular, but it is possible to distinguish her original HDD form from it. Nepgear's armor went in the opposite direction, becoming thinner then her usual set, also splitting into two pieces instead of being one.
Blanc had the most drastic difference, where she looked like a walking tank. Rom and Ram oddly enough look similar to what they were like before, but there is an addition of a headpiece for the both of them.
Vert's new form took a similar turn to Nepgear, becoming thinner, but not looking any weaker to before, along with a sleek thin mail that covered from her thighs to her collar.
Uni was the only one to look the same in appearance, but her rifle changed to the equivalent of a Gatling gun, with a central barrel that looks like a cannon.
"Incredible. . . Hmm, what shall we name these new forms?" Neptune asks, sounding similar to her Purple Heart voice but different, sounding a little less serious yet still as mature.
"Oh, how about Ultimate HDD? After all, I doubt there would be a need to go beyond this!" Blanc, or as I should now say, Ultimate White Heart states.
The others nod in agreement, all in awe at their own new strengths. The power I feel off of them is far beyond what I thought they would gain. Never mind them being near my strength, they might as well take on the King in my place!
