Ch.8 A Bound Warriors Rage

Max's pov

As me, nepgear, rom, ram, uni, compa, and IF continue on our way to the CPUs, i try to think back to when i transformed. Can i control it? the bug overpowered me and took over my body, but that was over 1000 years ago in that dimension, the one where i got that retched bug.

Nepgear tells us on how she wanted to be sheltered by neptune and decided to be the strong one, and thats how she transformed.

We finally make it to the crater where the CPUs arrive. The goddesses where surprised to see me and the candidates arrive.

While they are having their little reaction, i look for arfoire. She isnt one to hide. I can tell, she would interfere and try to find the weakpoint in people.

Then i hear clapping and see her.  "im surprised you made it."

"Who are you?" nepgear asks.

"I am arfoire. And i am the one who will bring the gospel of chaos to this world brought by-" arfoire is cut off by warechu, i think it was, saying something.

"Compa-chu! i missed you!" warechu shouts.

"er, right." compa comments, not knowing what to say.

"What a way to spoil the mood." I say out loud.

"Agreed." A sickly voice says, then taranis appears rebuilt, behind arfoire.

"Oh, great, you repaired the death bot." I remark.

"Why are you doing this? what are you after?" nepgear asks.

"fine, i'll tell you. I seek a new world order where CPUs are unnecessary. a world where anyone can rule." Arfoire says, almost preaches.

"but. . . Dosnt that mean your trying to become ruler?" nepgear points out.

"if someone stronger than me comrs along. They will become ruler." Arfoire says.

"So basically a free for all for the crown, strongest gets everything." I remark.

"Basically." Arfoire shrugs.

"enough of the propaganda! you basically just jealous of the goddesses' power arnt you!" uni shouts.

Arfoire scoffs at this."Perhaps once, i was. Not now, though. Because now. . ." Arfoire stops  talking and transforms. " i have that power myself!"

"She transformed!?" uni is surprised by this.

"But she isnt even a goddess. . !" Nepgear, again, points out.

arfoire's weapon transforms into a replica of neptunes weapon. "Cross combination!"

I through nepgear out of the way and block the attack with my blade. "I see, your a copycat. You know how to replicate attacks or forms, giving you a boost." I point out.

"Your a quick study, i'll give you that." taranis then kicks me away from arfoire.

Im knocked off my feet and slide a good two feet. A small amount of blood spills over my lip.

I stand up and wipe the blood away. my anger rising again. "You know what, i need to release some steam!"

I charge forward and taranis uses a pipe to block my attack. i got rid of his weapons. I smile.

"Missing some weapons?" I taunt.

"As a matter of fact yes." Taranis says unfazed by my taunt.

I start to slash my blade but stop when i hear nepgear getting demolished by arfoire. I broke the number one rile of fighting and break contact with my enemy. I pay for it by seeing that taranis bent his pipe and folded it into some sorts short blade.
