3rd person
Max and goku both take the stage as they step up onto opposite sides of the tournament grounds. The goddesses, and candidates, along with their friends and the other two fighters watch from an elevated position.
A high wind blows through the arena, blowing max's hair infront of his eyes as he has to continuously push it away.
The arena is filled with rocks and trees, a small mountain lays behind goku. Four gaint monitors on each side of the tournament for people to view.
Max gives a couple of stretches, then summons his blade and gets into his defensive position.
"Hey, wait! Your using a sword! Aww man, I thought that this was more like a martial arts tournament." Goku says as he sees blazefury gleaming in max's right hand.
Max ponders for a second as he looks down at his blade before throwing it to the side, casting away his main advantage.
"Hmm, alright goku, we'll have it your way." Max says as he slouched forward slightly and raises his fists.
A timer overheard counts down from three as both goku and max wait in anticipation for the fight moments away.
The timer clicks down to zero amd within the second, max and goku dash at each other and instantly start fighting. Both max and goku throw punchs at each but none of goku's land while all of max's hits land.
Max lashes out a kick that sends goku back.
"Augh. Your strong. Well, no use holding back." Goku says as he starts removing his shirt from under his gi.
"Weighted clothing?" Max asks as he watches.
"Haha, yeah!" Goku says as he throws the shirt off as it slams into the ground.
"Hmph. You ready?" Max asks, standing straight and relaxing slightly.
"Actually no." Goku says as both his hair and the air around him explode into a yellow glow.
"Huh, so he's achieved super saiyan, but what else?" Max mutters, wondering how powerful goku is.
"Alright now I'm good." Goku nods as they both continue their battle.
The battle kicks off as both kick and punch at each other, but each dodging a large amount of the blows. Goku jumps up, cupping his hands together and bringing then down in a striking move which max blocks by grabbing his hands and tossing him to a nearby rock.
Max rushes forward and tries to uppercut max but goku jumps back and out of the way then elbows max in the stomach.
Max rebounds and thows himself back at goku. Goku lashes forward jumping up and kicking max but he blocks the attack.
"Alright, two it is." Goku says as he powers up even furthur.
Goku charges forward with a quicker speed and strenght. Max jumps back as goku closes in, goku punchs at max a few more hits land but not as many as goku would hope.
Max, in a risky burst, goes on the offence and knees goku hard, making him double over but then uppercuts him, sending goku airborne then max jumps up and slams goku into the ground with a kick.
"Whoa, this guy is packing some serious power." Goku says as he stands up.
Max lands on the ground, right behind goku and starts to roundhouse kick goku but is stopped as goku powers up into a super saiyans 3, sending max flying back.
Max flips through the air and lands on his feet and sees goku, golden form amd hair reaching his feet. Max grits his teeth.
"Alright, but how much further is his power?" Max mumbles, noticing no tail so he knows he isnt dealing with a ssj4.
