Arianna's POV
Sam and I sat at the table in a comfortable quiet. Dean and Taylor's noise from the kitchen would occasionally pierce the somber zone.
"Arianna, why do you want to learn how to hunt?" His question was simple enough but it caused a small frown on his face making me believe there was more to it.
"Well, I need to be able to protect myself. What Taylor did when she pushed me out of the room was-" I hesitate for a moment remembering the exact moment the door slammed. "fearless. That is what I wanna be." Sam nods but he is still frowning.
"I think you're wrong. No offense or anything." He holds up his hands innocently.
"Really? Why's that?" I asked crossing my arms defiantly.
"I don't think Taylor was fearless when she went in and locked you out. Actually, I think she was terrified, but not of the monster. I think she was scared of losing you." I try to reply but cannot think of an acceptable answer.
"I have never really thought of it that way..." I trail off and he smiles reassuringly.
"That is okay, you seem like a smart girl. You would have figured it out." I can feel myself blushing. The blood rushing to my face like it's an imperative task.
"Am I interrupting something?" Dean's voice draws both of our attention to him.
"It's nothing," I mutter turning away in hopes of avoiding more embarrassment.
Sam nudges me with his elbow smiling before looking back down to his hands. Taylor strolls in at this exact moment shooting me a smirk before taking her place at the table.
"Okay, so I have some questions."
Taylor's POV
Sam and Dean's eyes flicker from me to each other. What are they doing? Having a telepathic conversation? Maybe I have something on my face; with a quick swipe of my hand across my face I inspect it for anything but it's clean.
"Was it something I said?" I lean over asking Arianna in a hushed tone.
"I think they want to break this to you as softly as possible." She smiles patting my hand. They look very concentrated.
"They look constipated." I snort letting out a laugh as Arianna tries to cover her giggles. Dean shoots us a glare and Sam shrugs it off.
"So the best way I can explain this is, we hunt things." Dean sighs looking at me before continuing.
"All the things that go bump in the night; all the creatures you thought were not real." Him and Sam both seem to hold their breath staring at me. I mean, sure this sounded crazy but after the mauling I just experienced I'm open to new things.
"So, you guys kill all the monsters and such?" Both brothers nod slowly.
"That is pretty freaking cool. Do I get to kill stuff? Please tell me I get to kill stuff." I smile thinking about how badass it would be.
"She took this a little too well," Dean says holding his hands up in surrender.
"Yeah." Sam agrees with a furrowed brow.
"What can I say except there is no one like Taylor." Arianna smiles sheepishly trying to smooth over my excitement.
"I wanna kill some evil bastiches. Like vampires. Oh man, Edward Cullen here I come." Arianna smiles high fiving me.
"Actually, Sam and Dean already agreed to teach us to hunt." She adds nudging me.
"Really?" I look to them for confirmation.
