Chapter 24

Sam's POV

"Evan, you tell us when it's here, okay?" Arianna said looking to him. Her hand was white, from gripping the knife. Walking over in front of me I can tell she is worried. "They will be fine." she just looked down. "I don't know about this Sam. A crossroads demon? What if Dean tries to make a deal? Even Taylor might try?" Her eye were filled with worry. "Hey, they can take care of themselves. Hopefully if one tries to make a deal the other can talk them out of it." I said my hand on her cheek. She just smiled.
"Do you hear that?" Evan was whirling around trying to locate a unheard sound. "Where?" Arianna ask. "Right out side the door." I turn aroung to face the door Arianna behind me infront of Evan. The door starts to rattle on it's hinges. I step back into the circle,  Arianna with me. Side by side we stare at the rattling door. "Just stay inside the circle, and don't move."  I say to them Arianna nods to me.

    Taylor's POV

I watch as Dean and them demon make their way to the car. I can see the devils trap slightly sticking out from, underneath the car. Please, don't see it. I bite my lip waiting for the demon's reaction. "You did know about your dad's deal, right? His life for yours? Oh, I didn't make the deal myself, but boy I wish I had." I see Dean stiffen, his jaw clenched. "After you." He opened the passenger door for her. "Such a gentlemen." As she starts to get in the car, I see her look down. Oh, here it comes. Thanks life, for sucking what is left of it. "A Devil's Trap? You've got to be kidding me?" The demon slams the door. I prepare to grab my knife from my boot. "Stupid. Stupid. I should rip you limb from limb." She starts towards Dean who backs up, into a wooden structure. "Take your best shot." Buy some time Dean. Sam will come or something. Think Taylor what should you do. Oh yeah. He drew another devils trap. Now only if he can lead her to it. You got this you guava. "No. I don't think so. I'm not going to put you out of your misery." Oh jeez here comes the poop that will jack with his brain. "Yeah? Why not?" He ask. "Because your misery's the whole point. It's too much fun to watch. Knowing how your daddy died for you, how he sold his soul. I mean, that's gotta hurt." I watch as Dean recoils back into the wood railing. "It's all you ever think about. You wake up and your first thought is, "I can't do this anymore." You're all lit up with pain. I mean, you loved him so much. And it's all your fault. You blew it, Dean! I could have given you what you need." She spats at him. He was angry, jaw clenched, and his eyes were dark. "What do I need?" Dean ask. Come on Dean, sass her out already. "Your father. I could have brought him back. Your loss. Seeya, Dean. I wish you a nice long life." Starting to walk away I see Dean hesitate then says "Hold on." The smile that was on her face was gone.

Arianna's POV

The door is still rattling. Standing there, it suddenly stops. "Do you still hear it?" Sam ask. "No. Is it over?" As soon as Evan replies the wall rumbles, followed by a grating sound. We all turn around to look at it. Busting outward, it flings the goofer dust in all directions.  "It's here!" Evan exclaims looking terrified.

Third Person's POV

Everyone at the crossroads was in a standstill. Dean is standing beneath the wooden structure with his head down. "You're lucky I've got a soft spot for lost puppies and long faces. I just can't leave you like this. Besides. You didn't call me here to bargain for Evan. Not really." Taylor scoffs. "Can you bring him back? My dad?" Dean asks. "Of course I can. Just as he was. Your dad would live a long and natural life, like he was meant to. That's a promise." Taylor shifts her weight to her other foot. She was starting to get impatient with this demon. "What about me?" He ask. "I could give you ten years. Ten long good years with him. That's a lifetime. The family can be together again. John, Dean, Sammy. The Winchester boys all reunited." She starts back toward him. "Look. Your dad's supposed to be alive. You're supposed to be dead. So we'll just set things straight, put things back in their natural order. And you get ten extra years on top. That's a bonus." Now the demon is nose to nose with Dean. He turns and walk farther under the structure. "You think you could-" He turns to face her "throw in a pair of steak knives too?" His sarcasm kicking in. "You know, this smart-a*s self-defense mechanism of yours-" She stops looking up. A devil's trap painted in stark white on the top of the structure. Now she is glaring at Dean and Taylor. "Idiots!" Dean smirks walking closer, so does Taylor. "Now you're really trapped. That's gotta hurt." He says pretending to pity her. "You know the smart thing doesnt work for you." Taylor says sticking her tounge out at the demon. "Let me out. Now!" Taylor chuckles and so does Dean. "Sure. We just gotta make a little deal here first. You call off your Hellhounds and let Evan go. Then I'll let you go."  Dean replies. "I can't break a binding contract." The demon says frustrated. "Hmm. And by "can't" you mean "don't want to"? Last chance. Evan and his wife get to live to a ripe old age. Going, going-" Dean says as if he was at a auction. "Let's talk about this." She says. "No. I don't think so. We are not going to put you out of your misery." Taylor says repeating what the demon had said earlier. Dean pulls out his Dad's journal, circling her like a shark.

Sam, Arianna, and Evan are in the circle. The barking and growling getting closer. Deep, malicous claw mark gouge the floor in the path of their circle. They stop right at the edge.
Dean is still circling the demon. "What are you doing?" She ask.  "Oh, you're just gonna go on a little trip. Way down South." Dean replies. "Forget Evan. Think of your dad." She says pleadingly. "So, desperate." Taylor mumbles. "Regna terrae, cantate Deo.." Dean continues with the exorcism. The demon begins to flinch, and twitch.
The winds starts to blow away the salt circle the only thing between Sam, Ari, Evan, and the Hellhounds. "The circle's broken! Come on!" Sam yells. They all run toward a store room Sam in front of Evan and Arianna in behind him." Arianna slams the door of the room, and locks it. Sam puts his back to it as the Hellhounds pound away.

"in potentis Magnife!" Dean still doing the exorcism is interrupted. "Wait!" the demons says Dean stops. Meanwhile in the storeroom the pounding stops. Sam and Arianna look around panting.

    Taylor's POV

The demon cut Dean off. Then shoved her tongue down his throat. WTF! It wasn't just a peck either is was one of the trading spit kind. You catch my drift. They break apart. Dean steps back blinking furiously. "What the hell was that for?" He says looking somewhat disgusted. "Sealing the deal." The demon replies. "I usually like to be warned before I'm violated with demon tongue." Dean says sassily. Oh yeah take that you biscuit! I smirk a bit. The demon gives me a stank eye. Give me evil eyes all you want I ain't the one trapped. I do a tiny fist pump beside me making Dean glare. "Evan Hudson is free. He and his wife will live long lives." The demon replies. "How do we know you are not lying?" I ask. Does she really think we trust her. I trust her about as much as I trust Loki. "My word is my bond." That is totally something Loki would say, but he is more fabulous than her. "Oh, really?" Dean ask not believing her. "It is when I make a deal. It's the rules. You got what you wanted. Now let me go." I watch as Dean takes a step back and  rubs the rosary glaring at the devil's trap. "You're gonna double-cross me? Funny how I'm the trustworthy one." We both shrug. "You know, you renege? Send me to hell? Sooner or later I'm gonna climb out, and skinning Evan Hudson will be the first thing that I do" Dean smiles and stashes the rosary in his jacket.  I climb up the tower breaking the circle. The demon steps out. "I gotta tell you. You would have never pulled that stunt if you knew." Dean frowns. Oh jee here comes that poop to jack with his brain again. "Knew what?" The demon raises a eyebrow. "Where your dad is. You should have made that deal. See, people talk about hell, but it's just a word. It doesn't even come close to describing the real thing."  The demon says. You know what I am fricking fracking done with this biscuit. Let me at her! I will carve out her spleen with a rusty spoon, and play hop scotch in her chest cavity! "Shut your mouth, b*tch." Dean says. Get her Dean. Stab her with a spoon. "If you could see your poor daddy? Hear the sounds he makes 'cause he can't even scream?" Okay you know what, screw her i am gonna rip her limbs off. Then do the rest.  Dean walks toward her. "How about I send you back there?" She throws her head back, pitch black smoke billowing from her mouth as she screams. Dean leans back on the wooden thing, and looks to me. The host of the demon is lying on the ground looking around confused. "What- how did I get here?"
