Chapter 32

Third Person POV

Taylor was helping Sam pack his bags they had agreed that they won the prank war with one last attempt by Arianna to steal Sam's laptop. It didn't end well. "Sam stop pouting. You got it back." Taylor says. "Yeah, but the password is changed." He whined. "She will tell you just tickle her." Taylor says. Sam brightens up and smiles. "Good idea." They are both cut off by a vision.

"No, stop it! Stop it! Ask her, ask the doctor! It's not in me!" A guys yells. "I just . . . I can't tell." The doctor says. "I have no choice." Dean says. Dean fires the gun twice, white covers the end. Sam and Taylor come out of the vision both on the floor. "Sam?" Taylor ask wide eyed. "No." He whispers.

Arianna's POV

"Are you sure it is Oregon?" Dean ask Taylor and Sam. Taylor looks to Sam who nods. The vision they saw was different to say the least. Dean was shooting someone. "There was a picture." Taylor said like she was trying to remember. "Crater Lake." Sam finishes. I look to Taylor, she was staring out the window eyes glazed over. "Anything else?" Dean ask. "It was dark. There was people there, also a guy was tied up." She says turning back to him. Everyone in the car was silent. "So I killed him?" Dean ask. "Yeah." Taylor replies. "You thought something was wrong with like something inside him." Sam said like he was justifying Dean. I am really confused I knew Taylor was getting visions with Sam but not full ones. "Well, all your weirdo visions are always tied to the yellow-eyed demon somehow . . . so was there any black smoke? Did we try to exorcise it?" Dean ask looking to Sam. "No. You just plugged him." Dean frowns. "I am sure I had a good reason." He reasoned. "I hope so." I murmur. His eyes travel to me. "What does that mean?" He ask. I just blink in response. "I mean come on. I wouldn't waste an innocent man." He says. Sam looks to him, raising his eyebrows. "I wouldn't!" He exclaims. "Never said you would!" Sam replies just as loud. "Can you both shut up! I am exhausted and have a migraine. Now excuse me while I dream about your corpse." Taylor says lowly to them effectively shutting their mouths. I watch as she leans her head against the window eyes closing. Sam looks at her worried then back to Dean. "Look, we don't know what it is. But whatever it is, that guy in the chair's a part of it. So let's find him, and see what's what." Sam says much softer. "Fine." Dean replies looking to the road. Gosh he really needs to keep he hand ten and two and watch the road like we may hunt monsters, but a car crash can take out anyone. "Fine." Sam says.

Taylor's POV

I take a puff of my cigarette. I am no longer clean. Yep, that migraine and vision crap just jerked me right back into it. Oh stress you have drove me to smoke, once again. I snuck off from the gang around the back of the wooden building that Dean had parked in front of. Taking one last drag I throw it to the ground smashing it with the toe of my boot. Grabbing my jacket off the plastic chair that was sitting raggedly at the back of the building, I sneak around to the front. Walking out I see Sam, Ari, and Dean looking at a telephone pole. "Ah, what an amazing discovery boys! A telephone pole!" I exclaim making it look like I had been walking down the sidewalk. "Look who decides to show up." Dean says smirking. "Look who is still ugly." I said smiling sweetly back at him. "Oh Ari we better move before lighting strikes." He says nudging Arianna who was talking to Sam. "Okay." She says then her eyes move to me. Oh jeez she knows. "Taylor. May I have a word?" Oh no her 'mom' voice. "Eh, maybe later looks like Sam and Dean are gonna need help will this telephone pole." I stammered. "No we are cool." Sam says not realizing he was my only hope. I tried. I failed. Crash and burn. Cue the explosions. I turn around only to hear her footsteps. Nope, better yet my unborn children dying. Like I don't even want kids. Her power is too strong! "Have you been smoking?" She ask. I turn around gasping. "No uh you must have some, uh lent in your nose. Might wanna get that checked out. By the way-" I felt her hand cover my mouth. "Hand them over." She says holding out her hand. I start to protest but she does the thing with her eyes. 'Like you are a disappointment to my soul why you smoking cancer sticks.' Yes the perfect description. Grudgingly I take them from the inside pocket of my jacket. I watched as she got another look on her face the one that looked at me sadly. God stop with the face expressions. She being taller than me ruffles my hair. "Good job." I hiss at her fixing my sassy mane. "Can you not?" I say making a disgusted expression. She turns blowing me a kiss in response. Ugh curse you sass. I realize all the sass I have been using could cause a development in the people around me. *gasp dramatically* Am I losing my sass? Is it evaporating from me?! I get a look of horror on my face. "Taylor come on they are discussing history!" I look back to my homeslice who was waving me over. "Yaasss!" I exclaim. She knows how much I love history. "What are we discussing gentlemen?" I ask putting a hand on my chin like a professional. "Roanoke?" Dean says shrugging like he doesn't know. "Ooooo lost colonies." I say excited. Sam and Dean look to me surprised. "What? I am history savy." I explain making them shake their heads.

Sam's POV

"Croatoan?" Aria ask. "Yeah. It was all that was left carved into a tree." I say running my finger over the word. "There is so many theories swirling it, but they never did figure out what did it for sure." Taylor says, I nod in response. "You don't think that's what's going on here, I mean-" I cut him off. "Whatever I saw in my head, it sure wasn't good. But what do you think could do that?" I ask. "Yellow-eyed demon?" Arianna ask. "Yeah. Your weirdo visions are always tied to it so.." Dean trails off looking between Taylor and I. "We should get help. Bobby, uh, Ellen maybe?" Ari speaks up. "Good idea." Dean says getting out his phone he curses lowly then puts it back in his pocket. "No service." I get out my phone so does Ari and Taylor. "Same." Taylor says frowning. We all walk to a pay phone. Dean picks it up. I hear a beep then a voice say 'out of service'. "Lines dead." He says hanging it back up. "You know if I was to massacre a town, which I totally wouldn't do, that would be my first step." Taylor says crossing her arms.

Dean's POV

We pull up to log cabin that was more like a house. It was in the middle of no where. Getting out I see a tacky sign on the front porch. "Oh well this is lovely." Taylor says kicking a rock into the sidewalk. I smile as she looks at me from under her lashes. God she makes it hard to concentrate when she looks at me like that. Today she knocked it out of the park with her cherry lips. Thats all I can think of instead of hunting. "Dean?" I snap out of it as Arianna looks to me wiggling her eyebrows. I just smirk. "Dean you coming or not?" I look to where Taylor and Sam are standing. Her hands placed on her hips. "Yeah." I say walking up the steps to the door. Sam knocks. A teenager answers the door. I flash my badge. "We're looking for Duane Tanner; he lives here, right?" I ask. "Yeah, he is my brother." The boy says. "Can we talk to him?" Taylor says as if it was obvious we needed to see him before. "Oh, he isn't here." He replies. "Do you know where he is?" I ask. "Yeah, he went on a fishing trip up by Roslyn Lake." He says shaking his head. "Is your parents home?" Arianna ask. "Yeah, they are inside." Behind him I see a man come to the door. "Who is it, son?" He ask. I assume this is his dad. "Hi, U.S. Marshals, sir, we're looking for your son Duane." I say. "Wh-why? He's not in trouble, is he?" The man ask nervously. I look to Sam who raises an eyebrow. "No, no, no, no. We just need to ask him a couple of routine questions, that's all." I say smiling reassuringly. "When is he getting back from his trip?" Taylor ask. "Not sure." He says. "Maybe your wife knows." Arianna says. "She is gone to the grocery store." He replies quickly. A little to quickly. "Your son just said she was here." Taylor says. "Did I?" The boy says looking puzzled. "She's getting groceries. So, when Duane gets back, there's a number where he can get a hold of you?" Mr. Turner ask. "Uh no. We will check back with you later." Taylor says turning around rolling her eyes. "That was creepy." Arianna says. "Yeah." Sam agrees. "A little too Stepford, right?" I say. "Big time." Sam says. "Guys." I look to Taylor who was sneaking to the side of the house. Sam and I follow looking into the window where I see whom I assume to be Mr. Tanner tied to a chair gagged. Mr. Tanner comes into the room casually with a kitchen knife, their son rolls up his sleeve letting his father cut deeply into it. He holds it above a wound on the battered woman's shoulder. Taylor is rushing toward the door gun in hand. I sprint after her. I watch as she kicks it down, automatically going in. When I walk in she shoots Mr. Tanner in the chest three times. I aim for the kid, but hesitate giving him enough time to escape the through a window. Turning I see Taylor breathing heavier, and Sam helping Arianna with Mrs. Tanner. What is going on in this town?
