Chapter 16

Dean's POV

"Dean, so how did the room sharing go with, Taylor?" I turned around to Sam from getting the last bags. "It went how I expected." I said lying right through my teeth. It went nothing like I expected. "Huh, Aria thinks something went on between you guys." He said not believing me. "Why would she think that?" I said closing the door to the motel. "I guess she just knows Taylor well enough, she just knows." Sam said starting down the hallway of the motel. I didn't respond what is the point anyways. Earlier Sam told me that she and Arianna had ran down the hall and he hadn't seen them since. I heard some laughing, in the parking lot Arianna was talking to Sam. Taylor on the other hand was talking to some guy, laughing as if he told the most hilarious joke known to man. "That is what happened." The guy was laughing to inching his way closer to her. I walk down the stairs a little bit faster. Sam gave me a look then took the bags leaving Ari. The guy was writing something on Taylor's hand. "I will be sure to use this." She said giving him a smile. As he walked away, she turned around our eyes meeting for a second. The smile falters, but she just gives me a thumbs up going to the back of the Impala.

Taylor's POV

That guy was cute. Hm, when should I text him wait a day or hour. Maybe, I should never text him. I need some love advice. "Ari?" I said shifting in the seat as she got into the car. "Yes?" She said raising an eyebrow. "I just got a guy's digits when should I text him?" Her eyes widened. "Why are you wanting to text him?" She asked surprised. "You are the one who said I hadn't had a boyfriend or went on a date." I pointed out. "I was hinting to someone else." She whispered her eyes flickering to Dean. "Pssh, he isn't my type. Anyways, nothing is there." I whispered back feeling a dull ache in my chest when I said that. She didn't look convinced, but didn't mention it. "Wait, leave him with you in his mind then when you do text him. Girl, he gonna want all of that." She said gesturing to me. "You have some serious issues." I said cringing. Dean and Sam get in the car, the radio comes on when Dean starts it up. Ramblin' Man filtered through the car. "Where are we off to now?" Arianna asked them leaning up in her seat towards Sam. "Greenville, Illinois." Ari looked at me. She knew I had some family in Greenville. "Is something wrong?" Dean said looking at me through the rear view mirror. "Nope, I am good. Are you?" I said leaning back matching his stare. "Peachy." He said turning to the windshield. The car rumbled as it took off. Sam took out a map looking at it. He traced along the map with his finger. "How long will it take?" Dean said his eyes shifting from the road to Sam. "Roughly, twenty hours." Sam let out a sigh. I felt contentment well up in me. That gives me time, but then harsh reality set in. I am going to be trapped in a car with Dean Winchester for twenty hours. I lean over against the door. The window was slightly fogged from early morning dew. I close my eyes, the feeling of tiredness was still there. My body longed for sleep. Giving in I relax in the seat my muscles contract, then relax. A warm buzz settles in my body. My heart beat slows, as I listen to the motor, and radio mix to make a lullaby.
I open my eyes. It feels like I haven't even been asleep. No one is here with me. I look out the window. A motel parking lot. When did we get here? I see Dean flirting with a blonde haired girl. Sam was leaning against a distant wall Ari snuggled into his chest. They were taking turns giving small kisses, and saying 'I love you'. They had forgotten all about me. I felt a little tear in my heart. I try to open the car door my hand goes right through the handle. I look at my hand it looks normal. Blinking I try to make sure I am not imagining things. I try to open the door again. The same results. Wanting to test a theory, I try to kick the door my foot disappears into it. I feel a twinge of fear when I place the rest of my body out of the car. Now I can clearly see everything, and not to mention hear. I walk over to wear Sam and Arianna are. First I just stand there. They never noticed me. Then I snap my fingers waving my arms in the air. "Guys, come on! Ok, you got me jokes over." I said giving up on their charades. They never even glanced my way. After that I make my way over to Dean and the blonde. Surely, she wasn't in on the joke and would notice me. Dean is smirking at her, while she twirls a piece of hair around her index finger biting her lip. He inches closer to her, hands shoved in the old leather jacket. "Oh God help me this is disgusting." I said gagging. Their eyes were glued to each other. "How about You and I go get a drink?" Dean said sending her a suggestive smile eyebrows raised. "I would love that." Her voice was breathy. What is she a komodo dragon. Breathing heavy and all. They basically just had sex with their eyes. Eye sex always gets the best of us. "Dean! You ignorant pebble! Look over here! I am right here." I watched him walk away not noticing me my voice fades at the end. Why won't he notice me? Why? I finally sets in. I must have died in my sleep. They have gotten rid of me already. I look over to where Ari and Sam have gotten more intense than before. "PDA!" I screamed loud as I could. Not even the casual squirrel in the tree noticed me. If  I am dead shouldn't they be grieving? Didn't they care enough to grieve. I slowly felt anger and sadness rise in me like a flood. I sink onto the ground the black top felt cold and wet. I hear a sudden sound of drums everything is starting to change to...
Black.

Third Person POV

Taylor bolts up from her seat in the Impala gasping for breath. Startling everyone, even Dean who managed to swerve a little before gaining control pulling over the old car. Taylor is still gasping for air as if oxygen was running out, and these were her last breaths. Arianna watched as the strongest person she knew broke into tears clutching head. Taylor heard them yelling her name, but it was like she was on the inside while they were out. Muffled voices filled her ears. She felt someone grab her hands that rested on the sides of her head. The rough hands had a gentle grip to the as the person forced her to look at them. It was Dean Winchester. His green eyes sparked with worry. Taylor slowly drifted out of her bubble into reality. "Taylor!" Dean's words smooth like velvet. Her eyes that were glazed over and full of tears was clear. "What is wrong with me?" is all she could croak.
