"Emi! Hurry up, you're holding us all up!" Emilia's sister, Rose, yelled from the bedroom.
"I'm coming!" Emilia shouted, shoving her fake diamond earring through her ear.
She took one last look at her reflection in the mirror; her strawberry-blonde hair and flushed cheeks staring back at her. Emi then tugged on her purple, off-the-shoulder dress, making sure it fell to her mid-calf.
When she pushed the door open, she saw Rose and her cousin, Annie, sitting on the two of the three small twin beds in their shared room.
"Finally!" Annie screeched, opening the door and heading outside. Rose smiled, grabbing Emi's hand and pulling her along with them.

"Ladies! Glad you could finally join us!" The girls' tour director, Charlotte, spoke, hugging them quickly.
Emi, Annie, and Rose had decided to take a trip after Emi had graduated college this past spring. The two twenty year old's and twenty-two year old Emi were exploring London, Paris, Bastogne, and lastly, Munich, before heading home to the United States.
"Please, remember to be safe tonight," Charlotte reminded the group of twenty individuals. "It's wonderful to have a great time and get drunk off of this fantastic German liquor, but please drink responsibly. With that, let's get lit!"
Emi shook her head, not believing that the thirty-year-old blonde just used the word 'lit.'
Emilia and her cousins then slid into the awaiting Uber, giving them them the address Charlotte had entered into her phone minutes earlier.
"So Emi," Annie whispered, "Are you gonna find a hot guy to hook up with tonight?"
Emilia rolled her eyes, giving her them her answer. "Em," Rosie shook her gently. "I think being with someone else would help you forget about Alex; we both know that's the reason you haven't been with anyone during the trip."
Emi looked out the window, admiring the lit up Munich streets. "Just promise that you'll at least try and forget about Alex tonight, alright Em?" Annie cooed, grasping her hand.
