After we finished eating, Will helped Nico up and supported him as Nico clumsily walked. He was still really dazed.

After some walking, we found the hotel the cashier, according to Leo, had told them about.

Even though it was still early morning, we grabbed another room with two beds. We'd used up almost all our money now, so we'd just have to hope that Nico could get us close to camp with his next travel.

Holding a drachma, I went into the bathroom and closed the door. I turned on the sink and flipped the coin. After offering it, a shimmering view of Chiron was in front of me.

"Chiron," I said, a smile breaking my face. It was good to see his face again.

"Y/n," he said, his face a calm happy, "You're alright. Is everyone else there too?'

"Yea, they're in the other room. I wanted to talk alone really quick."

"Is everything okay?"

"Yes, it's just that--"

An explosion set off somewhere behind Chiron. His faced turned to stone.

"How quickly can you get here, y/n?"

"Nico just shadow traveled. There's no way he can get all five of us back to camp."

"Tell him to only take you. I'll take care of the other three, okay? Phobos decided not to wait. He's here, at camp."

"But Chiron--"

The IM began to fade. It asked for another drachma.

I ran out of the bathroom. "Nico, Chiron needs you to take me to camp. He says he has you guys covered, with help on the way," I said, motioning to the other three.

"What? Why does he need you there..." Leo quietly trailed off. He knew.

"Nico can't shadow-travel again, y/n," said Will.

"I know! Listen, it's Chiron's orders. Phobos is attacking camp and only I can stop him. Please Will, let us go."

"Okay. But Nico, please be careful. Get him somewhere safe, will you?" Said Will.

"I will," said Nico.

"I'll take care of him," I said.

I grabbed onto Nico, Leo and I locking eyes. I gave him an I'm sorry but I have to look, and soon Nico and I were falling into Long Island Shore. We hit the soft sand, and I carried a very pale, very sickly-looking Nico closer to camp.

Luckily for me, Phobos and Deimos hadn't managed to destroy anything yet. There was still time to save camp.

Two satyrs approached me. They took Nico away and promised his safety.

Deimos was fighting with other campers while Phobos watched. Many of the campers simply froze as they tried to fight. The dynamic duo was simply too much to conquer.

Phobos was keeping their minds off him. Deimos's power kept everyone focused on him except for me.

My heart pounded in my chest. I took deep breaths.

I approached Phobos, a sickly sweet smile plastered onto his face. "Well, if it isn't you again. Come to meet your final end with me?"

I remembered our first fight. I was so weak then, yet I knew how to distract him. I'd made him disappear. I thought of what would happen now that I was stronger.

"You don't control me, Phobos," I stammered.

"No, because that wouldn't be as fun. I wouldn't see true fear as I destroyed everything you love. Starting with your mother."

"I just have to know, Phobos. Did you make her insane?"

"One of my better works, yes. She was easy. Your mother cared about you a lot. Thankfully, that means many fears! It was almost too easy."

"You're sick."

"Actually, my allergies just cleared up. I'm all better now."

"Why are you fighting now? You're not at full power."

"Bah! Quit distracting me. We end this now, daughter of Apollo, once and for all."
