After Fiona disappeared, now turning into the Black Fairy, Malcolm wasn't the same. Y/n saw the changes in his behavior, posture, and attitude. He was broken, lost, and cowardice. He was not the same loving person Y/n fell in love with. No, that Malcolm was long gone and he wasn't going to be the same.
Staying in the shadows she watch as group of men pick on him shoving him to ground with no mercy. Rumple yelled at them. Not far from the group of men was Joan, who aged unlike Andrew. The days when on the same, until one day Malcolm took Rumple to three seamstresses. Y/n watch as he hand Rumple a straw doll.
Saying a few words they parted ways. Y/n when back to the village, taking another route. The route that would take her to the cherry blossom tree. Little did she know that Malcolm took the same route. Sitting by the tree she started making flowers crowns like she did as a child.
Finishing three, Malcolm noticed someone by the tree. He had hoped it'd be Y/n or at least Fiona. As he approached the figure, he realized by the size it wasn't Fiona. The figure was too small. Making his way calmly he stood in front of the person, seeing flower crowns around them.
He nelt down and pick one up, not able to see the figures face, due to the hood. Although he had a good guess about who it was.
"These flower crowns look quite lovely, who taught you?" He asked.
Y/n paused and stood up, pulling down her hood. Malcolm smiled seeing his immortal friend. Y/n didn't smiled back at him, only frowned. He noticed she didn't smile back like he wished she would. Before he could speak, Y/n's hand went to his neck, feeling for something. Once her fingers found the string, she pulling the acorn pendent out from under his shirt. Letting go of it, she stepped back.
"I'm sorry Malcolm. I wish things could be different," Y/n paused and looked up at him. "I miss this, I miss you."
Tear fell down Y/n face freely. Malcolm sighed softly brushing away her stray tears with his thumb. Y/n lended into his touch and watch his expression. It was quiet obvious that he missed her just as much. Their small moment was ended too quickly for both of them.
"Y/n, what are you doing with that grown man," Andrew asked.
Y/n pulled back from Malcolm and turned towards him. His smug smirk was enough to infuriate Y/n.
"Why? Why the hell did you do this to me?!" Y/n yelled. "To us?!"
Andrew glared and her. Malcolm felt uncomfortable and weak. He wasn't able to protect Y/n from him the first time. Andrew noticed how uncomfortable Malcom was and chuckled.
"Well to answer that, let's just say I got my revenge. I started with your father, then your mother who was absolutely beautiful, soft," Andrew ranted, getting to Y/n. "Of course losing her was disappointing. She was fun to be with in bed."
That did it, Y/n lunged towards him. He simply moved aside and smirked.
"Now, now. You don't want to be responsible for your little brother to be an orphan now would you?"
Y/n and Malcolm were confused by his statement.
"That's...that's impossible. Y/n's mother died. There is no way she could have had a child in such a short time," Malcolm argued.
"On the contrary, I simply sped up the birth of the child. Why do you think she was out in the woods crying with blood around her?" Andrew smirked.
Y/n was in shock. Brother? Did she really have a half brother?
"Who is he? Where is he?" Y/n demand, marching up to him. "Tell me."
Andrew smirked, "His still a young boy and lives in your old home Y/n. He has been living their for the past few years."
