While Y/n was gone they did miss her. The first time when Pan banished her, it did hurt as bad, but after she showed loyalty and risked her life they thought of her differently. She was family the all of them. Including Adrain and Brew. Elliot and Koda looked and looked for her in there spare time but didn't find her. Pan couldn't locate her pin point location due to her moving quickly and swiftly when he tried. Truth be told, Y/n had a pattern. She would be by the lagoon for no longer than an hour, then move to the beach to check in on Killian, after that she'd head to the cliffs, into the forest, back to the lagoon, and end at her favorite spot on the island where she was well hidden
In a canopy of trees and brush that surrounded the small pond inside. She spent a lot of time her but never stayed to long. Pan had only gotten a hold of her twice and bumped into Felix more than a few times. She broke the pattern to see her son and was caught most of the time. The rest of the lost boys never saw her. This left them feeling rather upset and empty. This is was caused Pan to send the shadow off to London to the house of the Darlings.

Y/n hummed to herself deciding to travel to the other side of the island for the day, to break off the travel she had been leaving for Pan. She didn't want to return or see Pan after he literally killed her. She would love to see the lost boys again though. The thought of them made her feel upset and depressed for leaving without goodbye. She knew Koda, who was still young at heart and mind, would miss her a lot. Pan didn't notice how she mothered not only the young ones but the young teens as well. She smiled at the thought of her helping them but frowned and froze when she heard a twig snap behind her.
"And where are you going?"
Y/n didn't need to turn around to know it was Pan. If Pan was to be honest with himself, he missed her. Him banishing her from the camp was his rage. To think this was the second time for him to do this. She proved herself but then loses her privileges there.
"Far from the camp and to the other side of the island. Why does it matter, it's not like I can physically leave," Y/n replied.
She didn't even flinch when Pan appeared in front of her. What she saw though shocked her though. She spotted a hint of sorrow and regret behind his scowl. If there was one thing her father taught her was to always show kindness or offer a better choice. Y/n bit her lip and wrapped her arms around him. It hurt to do this but she couldn't avoid him forever. Pan flinched and froze at her actions. It was then familiarity filled him. He didn't realize how much he missed her hugs. They were always warm, welcoming, and pure. It melted the ice growing in Pan. He slowly wrapped his arms around her with his head lending on the side of hers as his chin rested on her shoulder. Y/n smiled at this. This was her friend. Her lover. Tears pricked her eyes. Y/n pulled away to soon for Pans liking but when he saw her wiping away the tears that started to fall, he grew confused and concerned. Who knew a hug could effect so much.
"Y/n?"
Y/n only smiled at him and gave a soft laugh.
"I'm fine. I just missed you," Y/n smiled lightly. "But I don't know what to do after you actually killed me."
Pan frowned with tears pricking his eyes. This he knew he'd regret for the rest of his life. He didn't want this mistake to happen again either. Despite his cold and dark heart, he still cared for her somewhere in there.
"I think it best for you to go so I don't end up hurting you again," Pan muttered.
Y/n's body froze and pain stabbed threw her heart. She understood him wanting to spare her the pain of this ever happing again, but to leave him again to go to another land was painful. She wouldn't just be leaving him but her son as well.
"Pan I can't. I can't leave Felix's or you. I'm with you again and here we don't have to worry about time or aging," Y/n blurted our. "I don't have to lose the ones I love to time anymore here."
Peter looked away. She didn't k ow that his life alone was ticking slowly here. It was only a matter of time before he did in fact past on to the after life. His silence bothered Y/n.
"Pan?"
He only shook his head and raised his head to meet her gaze.
"Take my hand..."
His hand was out stretched to her. Y/n took it and as soon as he had a grip they were not surrounded by trees but a rocky wall. Y/n looked around, releasing Pans hand, and noticed a hourglass with golden sand. She was confused at first. She saw that it was mostly full at the top that bottom. She turned to Pan and asked the question she wish she didn't know the answer to.
"W-what is this? What time is running out?" Y/n asked with a voice edged in fear.
"My time...my time is running out," Pan answered.
Y/n's eyes widen with sadness and worry.
"Is there a way to stop it?" Y/n asked.
Pan bit his lip and let out a sigh.
"Yes. The heart of the truest believer. I don't believe he is born yet but he is the key to my survival."
Y/n nodded understanding. He saw how upset she was now. The words she just said were wrong. Time may stand still but Pans life was ticking away. Her love, her soulmate, her life was going to leave her and she was powerless to do anything about it, but not she started to regret the fight she had with him that drove him to hurt her. She provoked him.
"I'm sorry Pan..."
This confused him. Why was she apologizing to him. She didn't do anything wrong?
"I'm sorry I provoked you into hurting me. I'm sorry I left you and didn't come back to you in time..." tear streamed down Y/n's face now. "I walked out of your life for years and now I'm walking back into it."
Pan only gave a rueful smile and pulled Y/n into a hug. Tear soaked the shoulder of his shirt and she tucked her face away. Her arms held his waist as she cry rather silently. Pan only held her remembering how he had comforted her when she had rough times of her step father and mother. He stroked her hair and muttered soft 'it's going to be okay' and 'I'm here'. It wasn't long until Y/n's tears stopped.
"I love you..always have and always will," Pan softly spoke.
"I love you too Peter," Y/n smiled.

Despite the hourglass timing Pans life Y/n was determined to spend spare time with him when he wasn't busy. She didn't go back to stay with the lost boys but she did decide to visit them on a daily bases. This pleased them and Pan. She even started to teach proper fighting techniques and the healing that Koby had taught her. Even if she lived on the other side of the island she was there for them when they need it and they were going to be there for her as well. But one day when she when to check on them, she saw something that hurt her deeply.
